Rex's lady decided that watching would be for the best right now. If she sensed anything wrong though, she wanted to be close to Rex.
This is what they saw and did
Rex was traversing the Sixth Realm. He tried locating the remains of the Qi used to teleport the young boy.
"I have to find the young boy and break his spirit." Rex spoke.
This was the quest given to him by the system. As for why he only had to break his spirit. Rex did not know but one thing was for certain. That was he would figure out how to break his spirit.
As Rex walked he could not find the Qi that the woman had used to teleport the duo away. This upset Rex. He continued his search. After a while, Rex stopped and enjoyed some peace and quiet of nature around him.
He continued his search. It had turned dark now. There was still no sign of any kind of where the duo might be.
Rex slept. Seeing the sleeping face of Rex, Rex's lady decided to stay on first watch around to make sure that nothing harmful would come close to Rex.
The second was the other lady. She was more than happy to be on second watch. It did interfere with her natural sleep order. That was a small price to pay in order to make sure that Rex was safe.
As the other lady got to go back to sleep. The elder took a staff and pointed it towards Rex.
"Let the water guide you to where you need to." She spoke.
A small Qi bubble left the staff and went to the portal. Then it found it's way to Rex and entered his Soul.
Feeling that something was not right. Rex immediately jolted up. There were no insects around, spiders were too far in-between to even bother Rex, beasts were not going to charge in on him by chance, and so the only conclusion he came to was that someone was watching him.
Before he could speak on such, he heard the amazing 'Ding'.
Opening his system, he got an upgrade to the overall system.
"Anytime I need to find something or someone I can use Water Ball to find the something or someone!" Rex was shocked.
He had not yet even made the Water Ball. One naturally formed so that he could see the usefulness of this. He saw the Water Ball become an arrow.
This of course led Rex and in the right direction to where he needed to go. He could not think the system enough for this upgrade to make everything easier.
It is not that he could not have found them. The elder wanted to help her grandfather in some shape or fashion. Plus this way he could also use it later if he needed to.
As he followed the arrow. Rex decided not to go straight for the boy. He decided to go after who else was with the boy.
This should help break the boy's spirit. As he traversed further away into the forest. A sickening sight fell upon Rex.
"Who would kill so many beasts and strip them of their fur, scales, or skim while leaving their meat and breaking a few bones?" Rex spoke.
Of course this question also affected the elder. She was also in the same mindset that this was too much.
Rex could have sworn has he walked passed the beasts that they looked at him. This made Rex wonder what truly was going on here.
