Chapter 133 Trap

Chapter 133 Trap

"Thank you, senior. Thank you, senior." Upon hearing that the curse had been lifted, the stranger immediately bowed and thanked him profusely. He then turned to leave, but how could Agreed let him go so easily?

Then Agreed shouted at him, "Wait! You'd better come with me one last time, or I'm afraid you're trying to cheat me."

Upon hearing this, the stranger stopped in his tracks, a sinister expression appearing on his face as he turned his back to Agreed.

At this moment, the stranger thought to himself with a sinister glint in his eyes, "Since you're in such a hurry to die, then don't blame me."

He then turned around and flattered, "You're right, senior. I'll lead the way in that direction." With that, the stranger walked ahead, leading Agreed toward the graveyard surrounded by mountains.

Soon the two descended the mountain and arrived at the Golden Dragon Graveyard. A spherical defensive array, designed for identification, was protecting all the golden dragon skeletons without any blind spots. The stranger, seeing this, quickly explained, "Senior, the Golden Dragon Clan has set up an extremely powerful magic array here. I can't break it, so... it's all up to you now."

Agreed stepped forward and said, "You should step back a bit. It's possible that this defensive array has a self-destruct mechanism. I'd be in big trouble if you died in the aftershocks. We'll have plenty of time to work together in the future. You can continue to keep an eye out for dragon graveyards for me, and I'll give you a very generous reward for every graveyard you find."

"Thank you so much, senior." The stranger smiled profusely while subtly retreating. From Agreed's perspective, he was already more than 700 meters away, but he kept backing away.

Seeing the stranger's subtle actions, Agreed smiled knowingly, "You couldn't resist after all. Well, that's fine. Let me see what surprise you've prepared for me."

After that, Agreed ignored the stranger and focused on breaking through the magical barrier in front of him. In less than half a minute, Agreed figured out the general structure of the barrier and then broke through it effortlessly. The golden magical light barrier then dissipated, and a continuous stretch of huge dragon skeletons appeared in front of Agreed.

Looking at the number of skeletons here, Agreed was certain that this was the ancestral tomb of the Golden Dragon Clan, which had remained unchanged since they appeared on this planet. He had really hit the jackpot; these skeletons were definitely enough for him to advance to the Divine Bone Realm.

As Agreed was proudly stroking the weathered skeletons that still retained most of their power, a huge Bagua pattern made of energy suddenly appeared beneath his feet. Agreed instantly sensed that this space had been sealed off by someone else, and he was now completely trapped here. Of course, Agreed had plenty of ways to escape, but the protagonist of this good show had not yet made his appearance.

Just then, the stranger stood on the mountainside and shouted, "Senior, are you satisfied with the gift I prepared for you?"

Agreed looked at him calmly and asked, "When did you decide to become my enemy?"

The stranger explained, "To be honest, I didn't have the courage to contradict you, but unfortunately, my system doesn't seem to think that way. It gave me an irresistible price to kill you. For this, I spent a long time searching through ancient tombs, accumulating a considerable amount of points, and betting all my possessions on this day. As long as I kill you, I can obtain the supreme divine power bestowed upon me by the system!"

Agreed looked at him helplessly and asked, "If it really had supreme divine power, it wouldn't have fallen to the point of becoming fragments and having to rely on parasitizing a piece of trash like you to nourish itself. Are you really not using your brain? Tutankhamun's memories were indeed correct. You foreigners all have the face of nouveau riche, your behavior and motivations are dominated by the fragments of godhood within your bodies. You are just a puppet now! Can't you even realize that?"

"Shut up! You're just jealous of my system. I'm the chosen one! You're nothing, you're not even a fart. You're just a necromancer who's cultivated for hundreds of years (he thought Agred was very old). What makes you think you can compare to me, the chosen one!"

The stranger seemed to have gone mad, his burning gaze seeming to melt Agreed. He continued to roar, "You are nothing but a stepping stone under my feet, an obstacle on my path to godhood. For my future, please die!"

Then the stranger chanted an incantation, and suddenly an explosion came from the dragon's skeleton. Upon seeing this, Agred immediately understood and judged, "You're trying to use one tiger to devour another? No wonder you chose the graveyard of the Golden Dragon Clan."

The stranger chuckled wickedly, saying smugly, "So what if you guessed it? Just a day ago was the Golden Dragon Clan's once-in-a-century ancestral worship day. I really don't understand how you could take so long to arrive when I clearly told you the location. Fortunately, there's an early warning array set up by the Golden Dragon Clan in this graveyard, which I've already activated. The Golden Dragon Clan members who haven't gone far after receiving the message will arrive here soon. Senior, you can have some fun with them. I won't bother you any longer."

After saying this, the stranger turned to leave, but Agreed suddenly called out, "You're probably not going anywhere, little guy. I was going to spare your life because you're useful to me after all, but since we've already fallen out, you'll be buried here."

Upon hearing this, the stranger frowned and quickly turned around, only to find Agreed standing in front of him, looking down at him. This sudden reversal startled the stranger so much that he fell to the ground.

The stranger, lying on the ground, kicked his legs backward with all his might, shouting with an incredulous expression, "Impossible! How could you possibly break through the system's top-tier formation, the 'Dragon-Trapping Heaven-Locking Formation'!"

Faced with this question, Agreed simply laughed contemptuously: "Hmph! The reputation is quite impressive, but it's a pity that with the strength of that little fragment on you, it can't produce anything of value. If you're not knowledgeable, you might really think this formation is something amazing. It's just sealing off space, something that even some low-level technological civilizations can do. You actually think this thing is some kind of great treasure?! How ignorant and foolish."

The stranger's eyes darted around, and he instantly admitted defeat, saying, "Senior, I was wrong. I was momentarily blinded by greed. Please forgive me. I... I can find you even more dragon graveyards, you..."

Agreed interrupted him, saying disdainfully, "You've already missed your chance, and to be honest, the curse on you was lifted a long time ago, right? Actually, I can sense that I was just playing along with this charade to see a joke. And guess what those energies that flew out of your body when I lifted the curse were for?" Agreed squatted down and looked at him. At that moment, the stranger even felt as if he saw an evil smile on the black skull.
