Chapter 306 West Sea Phase 3 Project
Chapter 306 West Sea Phase 3 Project
Chapter 306 West Sea Phase III Project
The current headquarters of the Xihai Project is on the 28th floor of the Hongxing Company headquarters building. It took Zhong Cheng five days to reorganize the project commanders.
In addition to the two deputy commanders Lin Hansheng and Zheng Yilun, Liu Yuzhu was added as the deputy commander, Yang Xi was the technical director, and Ye Wenhao and Deng Lin were the deputy technical directors.
Liu Yuzhu wanted to coordinate the Kunlun Research Institute's technical support for the Xihai Project. The scientific research projects Ye Wenhao and Deng Lin were responsible for were the key technologies in the Xihai Project, and their participation was designated by Zhong Cheng.
But Yang Xi volunteered to participate in the Xihai Project. He has never forgotten his wish to transform the Tarim Desert that he made many years ago.
Of course, this cannot be an official reason. His reason is that the first thing to solve when implementing engineering projects in the Gobi desert is the problem of power supply.
As the vice president of the Kunlun Research Institute in charge of scientific research in the field of energy and power, it is his responsibility to personally serve as the technical director of the project.
Of course Zhong Cheng agreed with this. Yang Xi is his old partner for many years, and he is not inferior to him in agility.
With Yang Xi's assistance, his pressure will be much less.
In addition, Zhong Cheng also transferred eight secretaries headed by Shi Hanxing to the Xihai Engineering Headquarters to continue serving as his staff.
It's just that the staff of the Xihai Project has expanded to 30 people, which will be used to assume the central command and coordination function of the huge Xihai Project in the future.
12 month 5 day.
The kick-off meeting of the third phase of Xihai Project was held in the auditorium of the company, with more than 1000 participants.
Among these people are the middle and high-level management and technical personnel of Xihai Engineering, as well as a large number of headquarters and various branch personnel.
The third phase of the Xihai project will be the most important construction and development project of Red Star Company in the next ten years, and the entire company will serve the Xihai project.
In order to cope with the huge engineering construction needs, Red Star Company will gradually transfer 30 cadres and employees from the Beishan headquarters, and will eventually form a development army of millions of people to carry out the largest environmental renovation project in human history.
This also means that the workload of the remaining personnel will increase significantly.
For this reason, Red Star Company will openly recruit more professionals across the country, and the number will be extremely alarming.
The kick-off meeting of the Xihai Project this time sounded the rallying call for marching into the Northwest.
China currently has eight deserts: Taklimakan Desert, Gurbantunggut Desert, Badain Jaran Desert, Tengger Desert, Kumtag Desert, Qaidam Basin Desert, Kubuqi Desert, Ulan Buhe Desert.
There are also four major sandy lands: Horqin Sandy Land, Mu Us Sandy Land, Hunshandake Sandy Land, and HLBE Sandy Land.
Huaxia is one of the countries in the world with large desert area, wide distribution and serious desertification hazards.
The area of desertification has reached 262 million square kilometers, accounting for 27% of the country's land area, and it is expanding.
The desertified land is mainly distributed in the northwestern region of XJ, Inner Mongolia, Gansu, Qinghai, and Ningxia. On the geographical boundary line, it is a dry and rainless area west of the Taihang Mountains and north of the Qinling Mountains.
Another key area for the implementation of the Xihai Project is the vast uninhabited land on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is about 2800 kilometers long from east to west, and 300-1500 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of about 250 million square kilometers.
Topographically, it can be divided into six parts: Qiangtang Plateau, Southern Tibet Valley, Qaidam Basin, Qilian Mountains, Qinghai Plateau and Sichuan-Tibet Alpine Valley.
Although the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau has a variety of forest types and a wide variety of tree species, the forest coverage rate is low, and the distribution is uneven, and the forest area is also small.
Because the permafrost is widely spread on the plateau, it is not suitable for the growth of crops, and the population is sparse, which is equivalent to a quarter of the territory of China, but there are only 1000 million people, which is not as good as the population of a large city in the mainland of China.
Either don't do it, or do it to the best!
This is the keynote set by Zhong Cheng for the third phase of the Xihai project.
At the meeting, Zhong Cheng did not talk much about his ideal contribution. After a brief opening speech, he announced two five-year plans, striving to implement the transformation of desertified land and plateau uninhabited areas in Northwest China within two five years.
The first five-year plan of the third phase of the West Sea Project is divided into three parts, which should be three regional plans.
The first is to transform the Tarim area, which is dominated by the Taklimakan Desert and the Kumtag Desert.
Located in the center of the Tarim Basin, the Taklamakan Desert is the largest desert in China (10th in the world) and the second largest mobile desert in the world.
The desert is about 1000 kilometers long from east to west, 400 kilometers wide from north to south, and covers an area of 33 square kilometers.
The Kumtag Desert is the sixth largest desert in China, located on the southern edge of the Lop Nur Depression in the Tarim Basin.
It is bounded by the Altun Mountain in the south, reaches the Aqike Valley in the north, and extends eastward to the territory of GS Province (Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain is its frontier), with a total area of about 2.28 square kilometers.
This will be the key attack area of the third phase of the West Sea Project, led by Yang Xi, and the project headquarters will be located in Tazhong Town in the center of the desert.
The second is to transform the Helan Mountain area of the four major deserts and one large sandy land with Helan Mountain as the center.
The Helan Mountains are located at the junction of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and the NMG Autonomous Region, starting from Bayan Aobao in the north and ending in Maotukeng Aobao and Qingtong Gorge in the south.
The Helan Mountains run nearly north-south, stretching for more than 200 kilometers and about 30 kilometers wide, and are an important geographical boundary in Northwest China.
The east side of the mountain is majestic and majestic, with overlapping peaks and steep valleys.
Overlooking the Yellow River Hetao and the EEDS plateau to the east, the terrain on the west side of the mountain is gentle and sinks into the ALS plateau.
The Badain Jaran Desert, Tengger Desert, Kubuqi Desert, Ulan Buhe Desert, and Mu Us Sandy Land are distributed on the east, west, and north sides of Helan Mountain.
This is the forefront of China's fight against desertification, and behind it are the North China Plain and the Guanzhong Plain, the hinterland of China.
The renovation project here is led by Lin Hansheng, and the regional headquarters is located in YC City at the foot of Helan Mountain, which is considered the best condition among the three first-line headquarters.
The third is the Qiangtang Plateau, the largest uninhabited area on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The Qiangtang Plateau is the largest inland area of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (in the Qiangtang Basin), the second largest lake area in China, and the highest inland lake area in the world.
The scope refers to the north of the Gangdise-Nyainqentanglha Mountains, the south of the Kunlun Mountains, east to the water ridge line of the inner and outer flow divisions at about 91° east longitude, and west to the national border.
It is 760 kilometers wide from north to south and 1200 kilometers long from east to west, covering an area of 59.70 square kilometers, accounting for a quarter of the total area of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
To transform this area into an area suitable for human habitation, it is necessary to use the plateau city planned by Shao Weimin as a template to establish dozens or even hundreds of closed urban industrial systems.
This is also a huge challenge for Red Star Company, led by Zheng Yilun, the regional headquarters is located in Gaoyuan City, which is under construction, and the conditions are the most difficult one.
The first five-year plan of the Xihai Project is gnawing hard nuts. After completing the renovation projects of these three major areas, 70% of the infrastructure construction of the entire project has been completed.
In addition to transforming the remaining few deserts and sandy land in the second five-year plan, the focus is on the development of urban industrial construction in the northwest region.
There is no way around this kind of planning. If the desert wasteland is not transformed, other construction cannot be carried out on a large scale, and not many people volunteer to go to the Northwest to support the construction, let alone settle down.
