Chapter 175 A Platform to Realize Dreams
The three research and development projects submitted by Zhong Cheng were also discussed at the meeting.
After discussions, the heavy bomber and transport aircraft programs were officially terminated.
The participants all believed that with the current development of military science and technology, there is no need to build such a huge military aircraft with a loading capacity of several hundred tons.
With the heavy Bifang fighter, it can be fully competent for the auxiliary support function of air combat in the future.
On the basis of the Suzaku fighter, the heavy-duty Bifang fighter has an appropriate increase in maximum take-off weight, which is about 50 tons.
In this way, the modified production can be quickly carried out and put into practical use.
However, the participants were very interested in Zhong Cheng's plan to produce large civil aviation aircraft.
This is one of the few high-tech fields in China that still lags behind Western countries, and it has a very large market space.
In addition, Zhong Cheng's proposals for intelligent robots and electric flying cars were unanimously approved after Zhong Cheng explained the confidentiality of the technology.
Zhong Cheng believes that the real core technology of Zhurong Electric is still in the industrial-grade production technology of graphene superconducting materials.
As long as Western countries cannot break through this technology for a day, they will not be able to imitate Kuafu power batteries, Zhurong electric pushers, or even super photonic computers and Suihuang nuclear fusion reactors.
And even if they break through, in terms of practical application, Huaxia has already left them too far.
In the end, the meeting made a resolution and entrusted Zhong Cheng to formulate a feasible plan for these scientific research projects, and then hold a meeting to discuss them before the end of the year.
Finally, it will be decided whether to include it in next year's key engineering projects.
Regarding these major issues concerning the national economy and the people's livelihood, Zhong Cheng said that he promised to complete the tasks within three months and submit a satisfactory answer to the country before the end of the year.
With Huaxia no longer considering the issue of electricity, he is ready to show his talents.
The meeting ended before 12 o'clock.
Zhong Cheng sent Dean Ye back home, and after having lunch at Ye's house, he took Ye Wenxin and the three of them back to Beishan on Bifang No. [-].
2 pm.
In the big conference room on the ninth floor underground of "Tianwaitian".
Zhong Cheng convened a meeting of all members of the team to conduct preliminary discussions on the tasks entrusted by the state.
A total of 136 scientific researchers from eight professional R&D groups participated in the conference, so that the meeting place was changed to a large conference room.
This is a meeting room specially remodeled this year, built according to the layout of Zhong Cheng's fan-shaped lecture hall when he was in college.
Taking the podium as the axis of the fan handle, the further back the higher the position, the more seats there are. There are only 36 seats in the first row, and there are 12 seats in the 72th row, which can accommodate a total of 512 people to attend the meeting.
The relevant facilities in the conference room are very advanced. In addition to the perfect sound reinforcement system, it is also equipped with holographic projection equipment, which can form interactive holographic images in the space in front of the podium for conference explanations.
This was the first plenary meeting he held.
These scientific researchers are trustworthy personnel who have been tested and stayed after more than half a year of running-in.
During the arduous and arduous implementation of the Golden Crow Project, 64 people have left the team due to various reasons.
Some applied for transfer by themselves, and some Zhong Cheng thought it was inappropriate and transferred to other units.
The latter accounted for the majority. After all, being able to work under Zhong Cheng is the dream of R&D personnel in the Red Star Heavy Industry Group.
But Zhong Cheng also cannot tolerate people who are too selfish, can't bear hardships, and have rigid thinking.
The average age of the R&D personnel in the conference room is only 30 years old, 90% of them have a master's degree or above, and there are 26 post-doctoral people. This is a young and energetic scientific research team with high education.
As long as this kind of team is brought together, it will snowball in the future and develop into a huge and powerful scientific research force. In the future, the fields involved will expand to hundreds, and the number of people should exceed [-]!
After Zhong Cheng briefly encouraged everyone, he got to the point.
He first talked about the Qinghai Salt Lake Lithium Extraction Project entrusted by the state. This project has been confirmed and the time is very tight.
It is necessary to formulate an implementation plan as soon as possible and start the construction of the project.
In addition to Zhong Cheng, Lin Wei and Liu Yuzhu are also very proficient in lithium extraction technology, and they both believe that there is no technical problem at present.
The current popular ion adsorption technology, precipitation method, and nanofiltration membrane method to extract lithium are not as cost-effective as the electroosmosis method they use in power battery factories.
The cost of using electroosmosis to extract lithium is only 1 yuan/ton (referring to lithium carbonate production capacity), while the cost of other salt lake lithium extraction technologies is about 3 yuan/ton.
Not to mention that compared with lithium extraction from salt lakes, the cost of lithium extraction from spodumene is generally 5-6/ton, while lithium extraction from lepidolite is more expensive, estimated at more than 6/ton.
However, the difficulty of extracting lithium from Qinghai Salt Lake lies in the fact that the concentration of lithium ions in Qinghai Salt Lake is low and the ratio of magnesium to lithium is very high.
Because the chemical properties of lithium and magnesium are very similar, it is difficult to separate, and the higher the ratio of magnesium to lithium, the more difficult it is.
In addition, in areas with harsh natural conditions, affected by factors such as weather, energy, and transportation, the capacity utilization rate has remained at a low level for a long time, making it difficult to improve.
Therefore, although China's lithium resources are very rich, the output is pitifully small, with an annual output of less than 3 tons, 70% of which are imported from abroad.
Starting from this year, the situation will worsen due to the huge use of lithium as raw material for Suihuang nuclear fusion power generation units.
Zhong Cheng said that the project was handed over to the Red Star Heavy Industry Group, so there was no need to consider the size of the investment, and the design and planning were carried out based on an annual output of 18 tons.
It can guarantee China's lithium carbonate demand in the next 20 years, and the situation in the future will not be considered for the time being.
Directly establish a lithium branch in Qinghai, with the company's giant construction machinery and the help of the local Northwest Chemical Industry, the previous difficulties are no longer a problem.
Zhong Chengcheng handed over the implementation plan of this project to Liu Yuzhu's research and development team.
And after the approval, Liu Yuzhu's team will also be responsible for it to the end.
The first topic was determined in this way, and Zhou Hu recorded it, and he will follow up later.
What follows is the discussion of the three R&D projects.
Zhong Cheng just mentioned the remodeling work of Bi Fang's heavy fighter.
This work is relatively simple, and he will personally communicate with Wang Xing's research and development team, who is working on the fighter manufacturing, and hand it over to them.
Wang Xing's fighter R&D team has absorbed a large number of researchers from other domestic R&D institutes in recent years, and already has a very high R&D capability.
Moreover, Zhong Cheng has the priority to dispatch personnel from dozens of research and development institutes under the Red Star Heavy Industry Group.
These research and development institutions are equivalent to the extension organization of his team, forming a powerful force and providing strong support for Zhong Cheng's scientific research work.
Red Star Heavy Industry is a platform specially built for him to realize his dream!
