Chapter 52: Another chapter of the notebook is here!
The notebook was summoned by a spell, but not by a powerful wizard; rather, it was... Neville, whose memory orb had been lost.
He returned during the holiday and searched for his memory orb by the Black Lake. He used the Summoning Charm but couldn't find the orb. Instead, he retrieved the notebook, but it didn't end up in Neville's hands. Instead, it ran out of magic halfway there and fell off the plane.
Finally, it was found by a little witch who was out for a stroll. Coincidentally, after finding the notebook, the little witch thought it was too old and casually tossed it into the common room, where Ginny ended up with it...
The weak little girl was easily tricked. Tom controlled the little witch to the entrance of the secret chamber and opened it with Parsleyan... Wait, what the hell is this?
The sink was indeed open, but what appeared before him wasn't the dark entrance, but a wall? After a brief touch, Tom confirmed that this passage led nowhere into the secret room.
How could it... have turned out like this?
Time was tight, so Tom only glanced at it and left. A few days later, he seized another opportunity and prepared to control the little witch to try again and see if he could wake up the basilisk inside and make it rush out to open the entrance.
But this time, the little witch's two older brothers discovered them, so Tom had no choice but to take action, severely injuring the twins before hiding away.
Tom is very anxious because his attack has already consumed too much of his soul power, but the little witch cannot die yet. If something happens to her and he hasn't even entered the secret chamber yet, it will be a real problem.
Of course, recently he also heard some news, though it might not be good news: there was a young wizard at Hogwarts with an extraordinary amount of magic, so...
"Is it for me?"
Irving never imagined that the lost notebook would end up back in his hands in such a way.
Ginny, no, it should be Tom, watched as the little witch took the notebook. Then, the moment the witch turned around, he wanted to go back into the notebook. Before leaving, he didn't forget to drain the little witch's life force one last time. But at that moment, a hand emitting a glowing light suddenly reached out and pressed it on the little girl's head.
The remaining soul was instantly ejected, and the little witch's body went limp. Owen picked her up and carried her towards the infirmary. The little girl's body was too weak; if she didn't receive timely medical attention, there might be adverse effects.
Just as they were about to reach the infirmary, Ron saw it. When he realized that Owen was holding his little sister, his eyes immediately turned red. Then, like a mad bull, he charged at Owen, raising his fist to hit him.
But just then, the infirmary door opened, and Ron punched it...
"Thump!!!"
"Huh? Mr. Ron? Good heavens, Owen, what's wrong with this little cutie?"
"Madam Pomfrey, this is Ginny. She has been controlled by an evil spirit and has had a lot of her life force and magic power absorbed. Fortunately, she is not in mortal danger. You can use Agent Five to relieve her symptoms first, and then use Agent One and Agent Seven together. She should recover in just three days."
Irving completely ignored Ron behind him and carried the little witch all the way to the hospital bed. During that short walk, he explained the treatment plan.
"Okay, honey, I'll be right there!"
Madam Pomfrey had complete faith in the young wizards, because Owen had healed many of them before, and in her opinion, Owen already possessed independent healing abilities.
But Ron had no idea that as he clasped his hands together, gritted his teeth, and watched Owen extend his hand, which glowed with white light, about to place it on his sister's head, he roared and charged again. But he stopped halfway there and then flew up into the air, weightless.
"Mr. Ron, I'm very busy right now. I don't have the time or energy to deal with you, but if you disturb the treatment again..." Owen looked up, staring into Ron's eyes, and said, "I'll break your legs!"
The little witch was enveloped in a soft white light. When Madam Pomfrey returned, he took the potion and carefully fed it to Ginny. He watched as her face slowly turned slightly red before letting out a long sigh of relief: "Alright, just get a good night's sleep, and when you wake up, you can use potion number one, and tomorrow you can use potion number seven."
Mrs. Pomfrey breathed a sigh of relief: "It's good that you're alright. By the way, Owen, what happened?"
"Wait a moment. I've already notified the professors. I'll talk to them once they've all arrived."
"Okay, Mr. Ron, the patient needs to rest. Please leave."
With a wave of her hand, Madam Pomfrey blew Ron, who was floating in the air, out of the infirmary. But he quickly relaxed. The professors walked over quickly. Some of them did not notice him, but Dumbledore, who arrived last, saw him. He waved his wand and put Ron down.
"Mr. Ron, you..."
"Headmaster Dumbledore, you must believe me, Owen. It was Owen who hurt Ginny. I saw it with my own eyes!"
Dumbledore's brow furrowed immediately. "Mr. Ron, this is a very serious accusation. Are you sure you saw Owen hurt Ginny with your own eyes?"
"I...I..."
"Alright, Mr. Ron, you should go back and rest. The truth will come out soon. I think you can ask Ginny yourself after she wakes up, right?"
"Yes, yes! Please make sure to protect Ginny!"
"I will..." Dumbledore nodded. "I will protect every student at the school."
Ron left because he needed to tell Harry and Hermione what had happened, so he didn't see Owen lead the professors out, then walk out of the castle and into the Chamber of Secrets.
"This is it. I never expected it to be in Ginny's hands. I think... perhaps we could take a closer look?"
Dumbledore laughed: "Perhaps you can leave it to me? I have a better way to handle it."
Snape, his face cold, pulled Owen away after a long while, saying, "Dumbledore, I hope you don't go too far."
And so, the notebook once again found itself in Dumbledore's hands...
……
"That's right, I saw it with my own eyes..."
"Ron!" Hermione couldn't take it anymore and interrupted Ron, "If Owen really hurt Ginny, why did he take Ginny to the infirmary? Also, that white light wasn't dark magic, but Owen's latest magic that can soothe the soul."
Ron snapped, his eyes red as he yelled at Hermione, "Shut up! You've been in cahoots with him for ages!!!"
Hermione sighed helplessly, put down her book, and went back to the girls' dormitory. Harry, looking at his friend with red eyes, sighed and said, "Why don't we go ask Ginny?"
