10!
Its folded wings slashed through the air with a sharp whistling sound, as if the earth were rushing towards it. The dense black shadows in the army of invaders gradually magnified, and the ferocity on the demon's face, the panic on the orc's face, and the stiff expression on the undead were reflected in the dragon's eyes.
5!
The boiling dragon magic flowed through the throat and into the tightly closed dragon mouth, tumbling, rotating, and compressing, gradually reaching a fragile state of equilibrium, condensing into a slightly stable sphere.
On the ground, flying creatures such as ghosts, quashes, freaks, succubi, and stigmatists, as well as the Balor Balrog leader who led this army, had all taken to the sky, attempting to unleash their infernal spells to hinder the diving dragons. However, those slow-moving creatures with limited range exploded into fireworks far from the dragons, only causing limited disruption to the dragons' vision.
However, at this point, the dragon no longer needs vision assistance.
0! Countdown is over!
Casalos opened his mouth, and the fireball, leaping with sparks and flashing with intense flames, lost its final restraint and crashed straight towards the command post of the Extinction Army, 300 meters away. At the same time, five other ice balls, lightning balls, magnetic energy balls, and acid balls also fell.
At the same time, it sprang open its folded wings as if launching a dragon wing slash. The sudden surge of lift stopped its dive, allowing it to draw a graceful arc and level off. The sudden positive overload tore through the wires under the dragon wings, and bundles of half-meter-long, thumb-thick pointed iron rods that were originally fixed there were thrown out. The six folded trapezoidal tail fins at the tail end popped open, and hundreds of messy iron rods were straightened by the air, their tips pointing downwards as they whistled away.
The compressed breath sphere exceeded the maximum range of the dragon's breath, crashing into the army and exploding upon impact with solid objects, unleashing a torrent of violent magical power that swept across an area of tens of meters. The breath-shaping technique learned from Hevilan was indeed very effective in dive bombardment, but unfortunately, none of the dragons in the entire horde could unleash a breath as powerful as Hevilan's. Unless it hit directly, high-ranking demons and other powerful warriors could withstand this breath; even the blazing flames couldn't inflict much damage because they couldn't stack enough layers.
However, at a height of 300 meters, there is no such thing as a direct hit without guidance or fire control; only those fragile, low-level dark creatures perish from the dragons' dive-and-launch dragon breath projectiles.
The scattered, sharp iron rods became death warrants. The initial velocity of the dive and the speed brought by the gravitational potential energy of falling from a height of 300 meters gave the ordinary iron rods enough kinetic energy to break through the Balor Flame Demon's innate defense. The thousands of iron rods dropped by the six dragons were like a rain of steel, colliding and creating sparks, piercing the demons in the area with pits all over their bodies.
The six-armed serpent demon, wielding multiple weapons to parry, fell, and the Balrog, engulfed in flames, also knelt on the ground, its soul-crushing howls echoing. Only then did the beings of the Prime Material Plane realize that demons could also howl—not from the damage of the iron rain, but from the iron rain weakening the life force of the high-ranking demons who had survived the dragon breath bombardment. The gradually revealing flames, through an inexplicable connection, scorched the very essence of these infernal creatures deep within the abyss, causing their agonizing groans.
Three six-armed serpent demons caught in the blazing flames were instantly reduced to ashes in a flash. Then, the army's commander, the unnamed Balrog, was recalled to the Abyss along with his minions. Because its essence had also been damaged by the flames, it would be unable to wreak havoc in the Prime Material Plane for several centuries… perhaps forever, considering the ecology of the Abyss demons.
Casalos, having led his squadron back to his own defensive line, glanced back at the first Balor Fire Demon to perish from his blazing dragon breath, and clicked his iron beak with slight dissatisfaction: Reality is not a dragon's treasure trove after all!
143. Price
Casalos was not very satisfied with the bombing results.
Even if all of the Witch King's army of demons were in the Dragon Treasury, it wouldn't be enough for Casalos to kill them all with just one dragon.
Reality is reality. Even demons, representing the essence of chaos, won't swarm together like monsters in the Dragon's Vault dungeon, allowing Casaloz to easily unleash an area-of-effect attack. Demons learn, they emulate lessons, and they possess a wealth of combat experience...
Chapter 211
With top-notch combat awareness, and behind it all, the former red-robed mage Zheng Yi provides strategic command and control.
After two bombing raids, the Exotic Army found an effective way to reduce bombing casualties: a simple early warning system combined with rapid dispersal thwarted Casaloz's plan to quickly stack Blazing Flames through the war. If the Exotic Army had swarmed in, the Blazing Flames from the previous bombing raids should have already reached a level where anyone below the Legendary level would be either killed or seriously injured upon contact, unlike now where even killing a regular Balor Fire Demon is so difficult.
Fortunately, the Expeditionary Army has yet to find an effective countermeasure against the dragon swarm's dive-bombing attack. Aerial attacks are common in the Kingdom of Heaven, but not all aerial attacks are the same. Air defense is a challenge even for modernized armies, let alone in a Kingdom of Heaven, which has fought tens of thousands of years of magical warfare. The 300-meter height acts like a canopy, eliminating most of the Expeditionary Army's counterattack methods. Their limited long-range spells are unlikely to accurately hit the dragon swarm, which has changed its flight pattern and is diving at high speed. And those few high-level combat units with high-altitude, high-speed flight capabilities would simply be offering themselves up as food to the dragons if they rushed into the swarm to intercept them.
Therefore, so far, none of the six atheros that Casalos captured in Damara and the five geese that Casalos summoned have suffered losses—their lifespans of decades or even centuries have significantly reinforced their behavioral patterns, making new flight patterns difficult to adapt to. Even the slightest disturbance could cause a dragon to instinctively flap its wings, losing lift, leading to imbalance or even a crash.
Fortunately, Casalos had foreseen this situation and planned the bombing route strictly according to the combat experience he had learned in his previous life. He would first circle around to the rear of the target before diving, so that when some unlucky guy fell from the sky, he would fall into the depth of his own defenses. At most, he would be dizzy and disoriented, and would not be surrounded by the enemy army and hacked to pieces.
Amidst the cheers of the humans on the defensive line, the dragon horde regrouped and flew towards the heart of Damara, leaving the chaotic Extermination Army far beyond the horizon. This bombardment was also the first time in the dragon horde's training that a flight without any dragon mishaps had been achieved—a perfect operation, and they were almost ready to move on to the next step.
"So, how did I do this time?"
A melodious dragon roar interrupted Casalos's thoughts. Looking at the dragon that had moved closer to its side and feeling the turbulent currents between its wingtips, it couldn't help but tighten its scales.
Karasandris, responding to Ratam's call, was one of the first dragons to join the war in Damara. She was also the fastest learner of new flight techniques and the most adept at understanding aerial tactics among the dragons. Undoubtedly, both now and in the future, Karasandris is a natural-born "pilot," an excellent aerial warrior. After all, in the original future, she was the chosen dragon who single-handedly defeated an adult gold dragon in aerial combat, then, along with others from Dorne's Ashbringer, defeated an extraordinary elderly red dragon, and finally triumphed over Samaster in the final battle of the Dragon Frenzy.
What troubled Casalos was that Kara—and the other four Singing Dragons participating in the battle—had "impure" motives. Why did the female Singing Dragons of Faerûn gather outside Waterdeep? Why were the dragons of Waterdeep repeatedly ambushed while hunting in the wild? Why did the Archmage of the Singing Dragons of Far East scream in the dead of night? Was it a moral decay? Or a loss of dragonhood? Let's delve into the ecology of the Singing Dragons… The female Singing Dragons gathering outside Waterdeep had only one purpose: to find mates!
Casaloz's only "reward" for conscripting these dragons into battle, disguised as dragons, was the promise to find them suitable male dragon mates. The five dragons, represented by Kara, were among the few outside Waterdeep who didn't mind their mates being other subspecies of dragons. In short, Casaloz essentially "sold" five males of Damara's six sub-iron dragons to recruit five dragons from Waterdeep as reinforcements.
Of course, dragons are free to fall in love. Casalos was simply sending a few dragons to spend some time with the Atheros. Whether they hit it off or were compatible was another matter; arranged marriages didn't exist. Now, Azumys had been captivated by Adina Romik, who had pale indigo scales, so it seemed like she could at least bring together a couple.
What Casalos didn't expect was that Kara, who seemed to be the chosen dragon, looked at it differently.
Hey sis, I'm not wearing any other dragon skins right now, I'm a baby dragon, so don't come clinging to me! Either a half-golem human or a baby dragon, what unique taste do you have? Why don't you wait a few years until your chosen one comes out and go find him?
Casalos inwardly grumbled, but outwardly could only offer a perfunctory compliment: "It's alright."
After saying that, it thought for a moment and realized it needed to find a reason to get rid of this foolish dragon. So it added, "You are the dragon with the strongest learning and adaptability I have ever seen. I once taught an orange-colored fool, and it studied for several years. Even now, it still occasionally falls off the dragon when it is flying smoothly without interference. In comparison, you have only practiced for half a month and you have been able to remain stable during the attack of the Soul-Severing Demon. I think it is about time to let you lead the team on your own."
"Really?" Kara slightly closed her outer eyelids, squinting like a human to hide her barely concealed pride and elation: "I will definitely bring them back safely!"
"Besides that, you can also try teaching other dragons to fly. This will have additional benefits in deepening your understanding and training your conditioned reflexes. Aren't those bronze dragons that came to support us from Impu very interested in our flight patterns? If the price is right, you can teach them. I've heard that Impu is very rich..."
Casually dealing with Kara, Casalos led the dragons to the temporary nesting area that Mara had specially prepared for them. The servants who had been waiting for a long time surrounded them with brushes and hot meat, diligently serving the dragons who had just returned from the bombing.
Then, accompanied by hearty laughter, a burly middle-aged man walked into the dragon's nest with his arms outstretched.
"We heard from the front that you took down a Baloro Demon commander. That's a great achievement, Casaloz!"
Casalos clicked his iron beak in exasperation. He hadn't even chased away the dragon spirit beside him, and now a paladin had gotten stuck to him. What bad luck!
144. The Paladin's Ambition
Dragon's Nest is located atop an open-pit iron ore vein. It was a fief granted by the royal family of Damara to Casaloz and the dragons as a reward for their support of Damara in their resistance against the Witch King's invasion.
However, the numerous servants within the dragon's lair were not provided by the Bloodfeather family. These creatures, their eyes gleaming as they rushed to serve the dragon, were actually the paladins of Damara and their retinues. The leader of the paladins was the burly man who had walked up to Casalos on his own.
Gaelos Dragon Nightmare, a legendary paladin.
Why would a perfectly good paladin come running to fawn over a dragon? It's obvious... Which paladin wouldn't want a dragon as a mount? Not to mention the paladins of Damara; their neighbor Impu has even created a fully-fledged Bronze Dragon Knight Order.
To be honest, most dragons are not as averse to being "mounted" as people imagine in human society. In the eyes of dragons, humanoid races are no different from cats and dogs. It's no big deal to have someone on your head or shoulder. When they were active in the dragon territory, Casalos often flew around with Isis on his head.
Elvia Tullis, the "Pure White Dragon" and consort of Arauzathoth, one of the most powerful dragons in the North, had always wanted to find a mage to ride her.
From the perspective of dragons enhancing their own combat power, having a legendary paladin as powerful as Dragon Nightmare as a battle partner would be a very good choice, especially since contacting Dragon Nightmare was one of Casalos's objectives in participating in the war. Although the last war of the gods occurred more than two thousand years ago, the rules of the current realm still allow the gods to directly intervene in matters of the material world. Under the watchful eyes of the gods, Casalos is now...
Chapter 212
There's not much that can be done; its guiding principle is to maximize benefits as much as possible once each action plan is finalized.
Like the dragon Kara, Galos the Dragon Nightmare is a pawn in the schemes of the gods—primarily the Platinum Dragon God and the Five-Colored Dragon Queen. From Faerûn's perspective, they are chosen ones burdened with the gods' mission, destined to become the "protagonists" who will shine in this world. Originally, Casalos would have preferred to stay as far away from them as possible; otherwise, if he were to become entangled with them in any ambiguous way, he could easily be used as cannon fodder by those two unscrupulous dragon gods.
Now that it can use the Dragon Treasury to invoke the banner of the Three Dragon Gods, it's good to make contact with their pawns beforehand. Given Bahamut and Tiamat's current and near-future state, as long as it doesn't directly confront the two gods, once it adopts the skin of a Holy Watcher or a Blasphemous Destroyer, the two Dragon Gods will only think it's a devout follower of Faerûn—since faith corresponds to a divine office rather than a specific deity, as long as the divine office isn't too obscure, there's never a shortage of scattered wild believers in Faerûn.
But... Casalos sat upright, craning his neck upwards, looking down at the imposing man in front of him, dressed in civilian clothes, whose figure resembled more of a barbarian than a paladin.
“You’re a good person, Gallos, but we’re not a good match.”
The man's smile froze on his face, and the corners of his mouth twitched slightly: "What you said... is a bit too subtle."
“I’ve told you many times, there’s no possibility between us.” Casalos shook his head. “My fighting style is completely incompatible with a paladin like you. If I were to find a ‘knight’ to fight alongside me, it would definitely be a pure spellcaster, not a melee fighter.”
Gaelos raised his hand, and a magical light flashed, illuminating Casalos's face.
"Hey, I'm a spellcaster too, Iron Dragon."
Hey, tui!
Casalos silently provided his own voiceover, then spat out a miniature breath of shattered energy, like spitting phlegm, extinguishing Gaelos's nascent spell. He then extended his hind claws, grabbed the paladin who was caught off guard by surprise, and flapped his wings to take off from the ground.
"Don't struggle. Didn't you want to ride a dragon? I'll take you for a ride. Instead of telling you all this useless stuff, I'll let you experience it for yourself." After verbally silencing the paladins' commotion, Casalos grabbed Gaelos and, amidst the paladins' admiring gazes and the dragons' mocking stares, soared into the clouds, then enjoyed a thrilling flight.
The bards' tales all say that the story of the dragon knight begins when a dragon first carries a knight into the sky. In the heavens, the knight will face the sky with his courage and conquer the dragon's heart with his sincerity, thus donning armor and holding reins, soaring through the blue sky. With Gaelus's intelligence, strength, and the favor it receives, if it had chosen a silver dragon, a red dragon, or even a gold dragon, perhaps it could have recreated the dragon knight sung by the bards.
Unfortunately, it encountered Casalos.
Dragons are not all the same, and neither is flight.
Even a legendary paladin, without any protective gear and facing winds of 600 km/h, could only cling tightly to the dragon's claws, close his eyes, bury his head in his arms, and let his legs flank like rag dolls, unable to even breathe. The air currents that swept across Casalos's scales were swirled into vortices, like spiraling steel blades tearing at Gaelos's body, shredding his casual clothes. A chilling aura, like a strange dark magic, enveloped the paladin, frantically robbing him of his body heat.
This is only at high speed and level flight.
Casalos's outstretched wings tilted slightly, and his body twisted to one side as if struck by a sledgehammer, veering and spiraling into a spiral. Gaelos felt his mind go blank, blood rushing to his legs. His upper body's large aorta and veins were inexplicably flattened by a strange force, while his lower body swelled like a balloon. His heart, which had been plummeting, suddenly stopped beating. This powerful paladin, who had never undergone overload training, lost control of his body.
No fancy maneuvers were needed; simple climbs, turns, rolls, and circles, combined with the immense G-forces of high-speed maneuvers, brought Gaelos the Dragon Nightmare to the brink of unconsciousness. Only his unwavering willpower kept him from passing out. Then Casalos performed a maneuver that was, in most common understanding, the most ordinary for a dragon: a low dive.
When Casalos lowered his head, the dragons on the ground, who were watching the sky, laughed. In their long training, Casalos had repeated the taboo of diving like this countless times: it was fine for a dragon to fly like this on its own, but if it was carrying a person or something else that was upside down, diving with its head down would become a deadly move—of course, it would kill the person.
145.Phaseality
"Well……"
With a muffled groan of discomfort, Gairos Dragon Nightmare opened his eyes. A dark red expanse met his gaze, along with a blurry, rapidly spinning tent ceiling right in front of him. He felt as if he were in a giant vortex, the sky and earth spinning, his entire body tossed about by the power of nature. His head felt as if it were filled with molten lead, a heavy, unyielding grip on his swirling body, his very soul being torn apart with pain. He felt as if his stomach and intestines were infected by unnatural creatures, sprouting countless tentacles and eyeballs that churned together, making him want to vomit his entire stomach.
The situation is slightly better when you close your eyes.
"How are you feeling?" Iron Dragon's hot breath swept over the paladin on the hospital bed. Casaroz tilted its head and asked, its tightly packed scales perfectly concealing the subtle expressions on its face.
Gaelos did not reply, but clenched his fists in a prayer gesture. Several beams of light, symbolizing glory, flashed across his body, but his pale complexion did not improve.
“It’s no use. You’ve been unconscious for a while now. Your men have tried various treatments and dispelling methods, but none of them have worked.”
After a brief silence, Galos asked weakly, "What happened?"
"Are you asking why you fainted, or if healing or dispelling spells couldn't relieve your dizziness?"
"Of course... I want to know everything."
“It’s simple. I fly much faster than other dragons. Your fragile body can’t withstand that speed.” Casalos’s statement was inaccurate. Speed itself doesn’t have much of an effect. What caused Galos to faint was the change in speed per unit time, that is, the overload caused by acceleration.
To make Gaelos the Dragon Nightmare realize that he was not suitable to be a Casaloz Knight, Casaloz always kept him in a roughly "riding" position on the dragon's back, with his head up and legs down, similar to sitting on a saddle.
In this way, during the previous series of high-speed maneuvers, Gairos Dragon Nightmare experienced positive G-forces. With his legendary-level physical abilities, if he had undergone G-force resistance training and knew how to cope, he could have easily withstood it. It was merely a case of blood rushing to the lower body causing ischemia in the heart, lungs, and brain. Humanoid beings have strong and abundant skeletal and muscular groups in their lower bodies, and the chest cavity is a huge, controllable pressure cavity. As long as one adopts the appropriate posture and reasonable body movements, it is entirely possible to provide a considerable amount of pressure compensation to temporarily maintain blood supply to the heart and brain.
But diving with its head down is different. For the dragon itself, diving with its head down is a positive overload, with all the blood rushing to its tail. But for the people "riding" on the dragon, diving with their heads down becomes a negative overload.
When there is a positive overload, blood rushes to the lower body; when there is a negative overload, it naturally rushes to the head!
When there is a positive overload, the upper body cavity can create negative pressure, while the lower body has strong muscles to compensate for the pressure. When there is a negative overload, can we expect the hollow chest cavity and cranial cavity to generate positive pressure, or can we expect the brain to tighten and compress the blood vessels in the brain like the muscles in the legs?
on
Chapter 213
Even if it has a brain, it's still just a muscle. How much pressure can the fragile cardiovascular system withstand?
During the dragons' flight training, Casalos constantly emphasized the difference between positive and negative overload. He even corrected the dragons' most common dive attack, transforming it into a side-attack, where the dragon first turns sideways, then faces the target directly before diving, thus converting the negative overload that the knight would bear into a manageable positive overload—he actually hoped that the dragons would find knights who could cooperate with him in this war.
After all, becoming a paladin's mount has many advantages. Aside from the unique class stat boosts, the diplomatic relations established with human powers alone provide much-needed soft power protection for the nearly extinct Aetherian race. Besides, it's not like it's being ridden; the dragon itself enjoys mingling with humans, and as for the other young Aetherian dragons, well, they just have to accept it…
As Casalos swooped down, Gaelos Dragon Nightmare couldn't withstand it for more than a few seconds before completely losing consciousness. If it weren't for his legendary power that made his physique exceed the limits of ordinary people, he would probably have suffered a stroke.
Even though he didn't collapse from a stroke, the high pressure that surged into his cranial cavity still caused damage to Gallos, with dizziness being the most obvious symptom.
"As for why the healing spells didn't work, it's because your injuries aren't actually that serious; they're more like superficial wounds. However, the injured organs are quite delicate and critical. I suspect that low-level healing spells can't detect and repair the minor damage to such delicate organs. If you want to recover immediately, you'll probably need very advanced healing spells."
Magic is not omnipotent; this was a phenomenon Casalos had long ago observed. The magic of Faerûn, especially magic related to living beings, exists on a very strange level. It can create miracles such as resurrecting the dead or giving life to inanimate objects, and can heal massive wounds in a very short time, yet it cannot treat certain minor injuries—everything is a matter of brute force. The divine office of "healing" has not yet appeared in Faerûn; only a few gods possess the domain of healing. Even the gods themselves don't fully understand the physiology of Faerûn's inhabitants, let alone the paladins and priests who use divine power to cast healing spells.
“But given your constitution, you should be fine after a few days of rest.” Casalos hadn’t forgotten his purpose in tormenting Gaelos: “So, do you still think you can…”
"That's because I wasn't prepared!"
“No, you’ll never be truly prepared.” Casalos cracked his iron beak, shattering all the paladin’s illusions. “I know what you’re thinking. You’ve experienced it firsthand; the pressure isn’t as insurmountable as it seems. Sure, you can don magical armor, cast numerous buffs to raise your physique to a level comparable to mine, and you can train to become accustomed to resisting the pressure acting within your body and flowing through your blood, thus adapting to my flight.”
But what's the use of that?
After a brief pause, Casalos turned his head and stared at Galos with one eye, saying slowly, "You are a paladin!"
"You've seen me lead the dragons in battle; we attacked from 300 meters away, and that was because they were just getting used to this kind of combat. If I were flying alone, I could attack from a greater distance and at a faster speed. On this battlefield, I would never charge onto the ground for melee combat, or even enter the effective attack range of those densely packed dark creatures. So, what good are you, a fully armed human paladin, besides being a 200-kilogram burden? What makes you think I should choose you?"
146. New Features
"Moreover, we don't even have a common goal. Even though our interests are aligned in this war, it's based on completely different motives!"
"Gailos, you are a paladin of the weeping god, following ancient paladin virtues, willingly bearing the suffering of this world. You should seek out the silver dragons, the bronze dragons, or the gold dragons; they deeply agree with your ideals. As always, they would gladly help you save Damara and redeem the people of this frigid land. A mercenary like me can never become a comrade-in-arms with you."
Dragons have never been absent from any war in Faerûn. Damara's geographical location is unique; its southwestern lair is home to Tamarand, the right-hand man of the King of Justice, and another of the King of Justice's friends, the "Nexus" Larendranmaga, also resides in the Lead Mountains. The uninhabited Great Glacier bordering Damara to the north is the territory of the former Glorious King, "The Ice King" Palotanthal. Therefore, the elusive King of Justice, Lares, and the two leaders of the Knights of the Claws of Justice, Hevilan and Azak, frequently appear in this region.
South of Damara lies the Kingdom of Imbutu, known as the gateway to Damara's trade, and the home of the Bronze Dragon Riders. It can be said that Damara lies within the traditional sphere of influence of the three great righteous metal dragons.
Given the virtue of the Good Metal Dragon, many Gold, Silver, and Bronze Dragons volunteered to join the Damara camp to resist the Dark Army. Imbtu even provided a fully-fledged Bronze Dragon Knight legion. Casaloz's dragon horde, brought by his Gold Dragon identity, didn't seem out of place among them. It's unclear why Gaelos specifically chose Casaloz, making him quite uncomfortable.
Like all the Iron Dragons, Casalos preferred to achieve his goals through persuasion in non-conflict negotiations rather than other methods that were more likely to create conflict. Given Gaelos's special status, Casalos could only formally reject his expectations before a substantial conflict of interest arose. Fortunately, the paladins of today were not the cannon fodder of the gods who could be easily fooled by some oath in the future; Gaelos was a faithful follower of the teachings of the Weeping God, so Casalos's verbal admonition yielded relatively good results.
Having dealt with the troublesome figures, and with potential leaders emerging among the dragons Casaloz had brought into the war, Casaloz was finally able to spare some free time. After handing the dragons over to Kara and Gaelos and making an excuse to leave, Casaloz quietly returned to the underground lava flow to prepare for yet another round of treasure trial.
"What do you mean my enemy is right here?"
After a long absence, the Archbishop gave Casalos a surprise... or perhaps a shock would be more accurate: the "contents" of the Dragon Vault trial had undergone an unexpected change. The true nature of the Dragon Vault was far more complex than Casalos had imagined.
"It means exactly what it says. Your enemy is right here, and you have to deal with him first so that the trial to save El can continue." Artanis, shrouded in his robes, showed no emotion, but spoke in a very casual tone, which relieved Casalos.
Casalos was genuinely startled when it heard that its enemies were in the Dragon Vault. It could only think of a handful of its current enemies still alive, none of whom it could face alone. More importantly, did this mean that "user" access to the Dragon Vault wasn't exclusive, and that it could be taken over even before it voluntarily relinquished it? Or perhaps multi-dragon co-op was possible?
Our understanding of the Dragon's Treasury is still too superficial.
Artanis's reaction gave Casalos more information, and it breathed a slight sigh of relief; things weren't as bad as it had imagined. Only the trial instance was temporarily closed, so this unexpected event was, in a sense, a good thing.
Its enemy who entered the Dragon Treasury was neither the two Dragon Gods nor Old Cha, but rather "Old Roar" Klaus, who was still in the category of "mortal dragon".
