Chapter 128 Out of Danger
Chapter 128 Out of Danger
Dodoria unleashed a powerful shockwave. A blinding flash of light followed by a deafening roar, and the entire valley was instantly leveled. A triumphant smile spread across Dodoria's face, his laughter echoing through the empty valley.
"This is the consequence of your mockery of me, Dodoria. Although King Frieza ordered me to capture you alive, killing you is far better than letting you escape. While this will make finding the Dragon Balls more difficult, these guys don't seem to be pushovers. But under such a powerful attack, you should all be reduced to ashes by now, hehehehehe." Dodoria said as he turned and flew away, his tone filled with unparalleled confidence and arrogance.
Behind Dodoria, Krillin, Shang Yun, Gohan, and Dende had already taken to the air. Krillin gritted his teeth, large beads of sweat rolling down his forehead, his eyes revealing tension and anger. Shang Yun frowned, his fists clenched, watching Dodoria's retreating figure warily. Gohan's youthful face was filled with fear; he gripped Dende's hand tightly, his body trembling slightly. Dende looked tense, his eyes fixed on Dodoria, barely daring to breathe.
They hovered in mid-air, not far from Dodoria; he could spot them with a simple turn of his head. Dodoria was flying very fast, the wind whistling past his ears, completely unaware of the strange occurrence behind him.
"Don't turn around, don't let them see us," Krillin prayed silently, holding his breath and trying not to make a sound. Gohan also prayed silently, hoping Dodoria would leave quickly.
Dodoria flew on, never looking back. Soon, he disappeared into the horizon, completely leaving the valley. Only then did Krillin and the others breathe a sigh of relief, their faces showing expressions of relief.
"That was close, we almost got discovered," Klin exclaimed.
Shang Yun nodded and said, "Yes, Dodoria is too arrogant. If he had been a little more cautious, we would have been in danger."
Son Gohan patted his chest, still shaken, and said, "Luckily, we escaped a disaster."
Dandy breathed a long sigh of relief and said, "We were so lucky this time."
In the sky, the smoke from Dodoria's attack had not yet completely dissipated. Shang Yun looked around and, seeing that it was safe for the time being, turned to Dende and asked with concern, "Dende, can you fly by yourself?" Dende nodded slightly, released his hand from Gohan's, and steadily stabilized himself in the air.
Seeing that Dandy could fly, Klin chuckled and said, "Great, we're safe now."
Dandy smiled and said, "Speaking of which, I should thank you. Thank you for saving me just now."
Krillin scratched his bald head and said with a smile, "Actually, you should thank Gohan. If it weren't for him, I might not have intervened to save him when I saw how dangerous it was."
Dende looked at Son Gohan, then at Shang Yun, and said earnestly, "No matter what, you saved me in the end, thank you. Especially just now, if it weren't for this big brother's protection, I might have been in danger." With that, Dende bowed deeply to Shang Yun.
Shang Yun quickly waved his hand and said with a smile, "You're too kind. Anyone would have helped in that situation."
Klin continued, "Dandy, why don't you come with us from now on? Don't worry, we're not bad guys."
Dandy looked at the three people in front of him and saw that they all had kind smiles on their faces. He nodded heavily and said, "Okay."
The four exchanged a smile, their hearty laughter echoing through the sky. After confirming their direction, they flew away together.
……
Inside the cave, Bulma had indeed used the Capsule Corp. to create a villa. She lay comfortably in the bathtub, surrounded by dreamlike floating bubbles. Holding up her communicator, she shouted, "Dad, do you know? There really are the Dragon Balls on Namek, but a lot of strange aliens have also come looking for them. If they manage to steal them, what's the point of this delicate lady of mine going through all this trouble to come here? Don't you think so? Dad? Are you even listening?!"
Dr. Cliff's voice came from the other end of the communicator: "Yes, I'm listening, but what can I do about it?"
Bulma shrank back into the bathtub and said helplessly, "In short, our spaceship was destroyed by strange aliens, and we can't go back now."
At Bulma's home on Earth, Dr. Cliff was standing in his laboratory, looking through data he had collected while building the spaceship, a cigarette dangling from his lips. Hearing Bulma say she was coming back, he quickly picked up the phone and said, "What did you say? You're coming back? That's not good. Goku just boarded his spaceship to Namek. If you come back and you miss him, wouldn't that be a huge shame?"
Upon hearing that Goku was coming, Bulma abruptly stood up from her bubble bath, instantly creating a splash of water. Water droplets slid down her smooth skin, shimmering under the light. Her hair clung wetly to her shoulders, water still dripping from the ends.
Bulma was tall and slender, with a shapely figure and a taut waist that exuded a vibrant beauty. Her shoulders were rounded and glossy, and her slightly raised chin conveyed confidence and anticipation. Her chest rose and fell gently, enhanced by the surrounding bubbles, adding to her hazy, alluring beauty. Her eyes sparkled with excitement, completely oblivious to the water droplets sliding down her body. "Really? Goku's here? That's wonderful!" she exclaimed in delight.
Bulma excitedly tossed her hands up, and the communicator slipped from her grasp and fell into the bathtub.
Fortunately, the communicator was waterproof, and Dr. Cliff's voice came through: "Yes, Sun Wukong has already set off on the spaceship I built. It is estimated that he will arrive at Namek in 6 days. It's just a pity that there is still a problem that has been puzzling me."
Bulma bent over, her hands on her knees, her eyes fixed on the communicator in the water, and asked anxiously, "The problem? What's the problem?"
Dr. Cliff paused, then said seriously, "The problem is, I didn't install a sound system in the spaceship. Do you really think that will work? Doesn't Sun Wukong listen to music?"
Bulma paused for a moment, then said with a wry smile, "Dad, what time is it? Why are you still worrying about this? Right now, we need to figure out how to fix my spaceship and how to deal with those aliens."
Dr. Cliff was silent for a moment, then said, "I know, but I always feel that music is very important. What if Sun Wukong gets bored on the spaceship?"
