"Then let's go!" Xing became excited, looking forward to the Star Train.
“Little March, you should take her back first,” Eve suddenly said.
"Huh? What's wrong, Sister Eve?" March 7 asked, puzzled. "You just recognized her as your daughter and you're already abandoning her?"
"What are you saying?" Eve flicked March 7's forehead again.
“It’s Alan from the Defense Section who lost contact around here. I have to bring him back as well,” Eve said.
"Oh, I see." March 7th nodded. "Alright then, I'll take care of her!"
March 7th patted his chest.
Eve smiled indulgently. "Okay, I'll leave it to you."
"Also, we need to find someone to protect her," March 7th suddenly thought.
"How about the White Branch Pistol?" Eve conjured a pistol with white patterns in her hand. "How's it? Can you shoot?"
Eve asked Xing affectionately.
My goddaughter is my own daughter, so she definitely deserves the best!!
The energy of a single bullet, while not enough to blast through the entire space station, is certainly enough to penetrate a section of it.
“Shoot…” Xing scratched his head, revealing a shrewd look in his eyes.
Eve immediately covered her face, "Never mind..."
She really shouldn't have had any expectations of this dull little gray-haired daughter.
"Then why don't we take that?" March 7's voice suddenly came.
Eve and Star both looked over.
On the display stand to the side was a baseball bat with a black top and yellow bottom, covered in patterns.
"The bat..." Xing suddenly remembered something and quickly went over to pick up the bat.
She swung the baseball bat and tried it out, finding it quite easy to handle; she could even do some fancy tricks with it, sensing a subtle power within it.
"This... could this be the legendary talent?!" March 7 was stunned.
Eve thought for a moment and said, "Hmm... the girl in the galaxy swinging a baseball bat, let's call her..."
March 7th suddenly chimed in, "Galaxy Baseball Girl is ready!!"
Eve: ......
“It’s Galaxy Baseball Man!!” Eve corrected.
"Is that so? But I still think 'Batter Girl' sounds better..." March 7th whispered.
Looking at the abilities of the nickname March 7th, Eve suddenly saw Paimon's shadow in her.
Paimon always gives people an unpleasant nickname, but it seems that in the end she has the most nicknames of all.
Sigh, I suddenly miss the emergency food and Ying. I wonder how they are doing now, and if Ying is still traveling...
Eve shook her head, regaining her confidence; she was certain she would find a way back.
Just then, Xing walked over, weighed the baseball bat in her hand, and said, "This bat is quite easy to use."
"Yes, absolutely, Galaxy Batman," March 7th said, giving a thumbs up.
"Galaxy Batman?" Xing asked curiously.
"This is the new name Eve gave you. How about it, isn't it a bit cringey?!" March 7 said mysteriously, carrying Eve on her back.
“Cough cough cough…” Eve immediately coughed tactically.
Xing's eyes immediately lit up. "Really! That's a pretty nice nickname!"
"I'm going to be Galaxy Baseball Man from now on!!" Xing said eagerly.
“This…” March 7th and Eve looked at Xing at the same time, their faces showing worry.
Oh dear, could this kid have really caused a short circuit...?
“Alright, I need to go find Alan now,” Eve said. “He’s probably still alone in the pile of flanks, and it’s very dangerous for him right now.”
After saying that, Eve disappeared from the spot.
"Wow, that's fast!" Xing exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's how Eve is, always flashing back and forth. I wonder if her head gets nauseous from all the flashing..." March 7th complained after thinking for a moment.
"Now it's just the two of us. Let's go, I'll take you back to the main control module."
"Okay." Xing put away his bat and nodded.
The two immediately left the storage room and headed to the elevator lobby of the containment section.
As they walked, March 7th suddenly asked, "Hey, by the way, Xing, you're not wearing a space station uniform, are you really from here?"
"I don't remember," Xing shook her head.
March 7th spread his hands helplessly and said, "Did you lose your memory? It seems you were injured."
"Forget it, let's not ask anymore."
"Did those Star Core Hunters do anything to you?" March 7th continued to ask.
Xing shook her head. "They seemed to have said something to me, but they didn't hurt me."
"What did you say?"
"I don't quite remember, but it seemed to mean something like, 'I got it for free...'" Xing scratched his head.
"Huh?" March 7th looked bewildered.
It seems this person's brain was really damaged.
"Alright, we've arrived at the elevator."
On March 7th, they stopped in their tracks; before them stood an enormous space elevator.
Xing stared at the elevator, her eyes filled with curiosity.
On March 7th, she immediately began operating the control panel, but soon a worried look appeared on her face.
"What's wrong?" Xing asked worriedly.
"Sigh..." March 7th sighed. "I knew it wouldn't work."
“Generally, wherever the main characters go, things there will break, increasing the difficulty for them to pass through the dungeons,” March 7th said, spreading his hands.
"So, we're the main characters?" Star's eyes sparkled.
March 7th immediately put his hands on his hips, "Hehe, of course..."
“Of course, I’m the main character,” Eve’s voice suddenly rang out.
"Wow!" March 7th was startled.
Eve appeared behind them at some point, and a person with black skin was floating beside her.
"What are you doing here? How come you're faster than us?" March 7th exclaimed in shock.
"You guys were too slow, March 7th protagonist," Eve said cryptically. "I've already rescued him."
She pointed to a piece of Alan floating in the air.
Alan then looked up and said weakly, "Um... could you put me down? I can walk by myself..."
"No, you can't, your leg is injured," Eve said gently.
Suddenly remembering something, March 7th asked expectantly, "Oh right, right, Almighty Wisdom Sister Eve, can you fix this elevator?"
"Wisdom Lord..." Star looked at Eve and murmured to himself.
Oh, so that's what my mom's name is...
That's amazing!!
“Hmm, good question.” Eve examined the elevator carefully, then said, “No.”
“Ah…wasn’t it supposed to be the god of wisdom?” March 7th said regretfully.
“We don’t have the tools,” Eve shrugged, looking helpless. “Besides, the elevator doesn’t seem to be broken, it just requires authorization to start.”
"I could hack into the system and gain access here, but that would crash the entire space station's system."
“This…” March 7th hesitated.
"By the way, isn't this guy from the space station? He should know how to start the elevator, right?" March 7th stared intently at Alan.
Alan felt a chill run down his spine from that gaze.
"I do know, but first I need to know who you are?"
