Dumbledore adjusted his glasses and refused, saying, "The Triwizard Tournament is over, and the school's rules must be followed. Hogwarts has a history of many outstanding students, and I cannot make an exception for you just because you have excellent grades. Every student should attend classes according to the school's schedule; this is to maintain the school's most basic fairness."
Although Levin was filled with disappointment, he did not continue to persuade Headmaster Dumbledore.
He knew the old man's character well; he was a stubborn old man who, once he made a decision, was difficult to change.
Continuing to argue will only make things more awkward for you.
He turned to leave, but caught sight of Umbridge sitting to his side. She had put down her knife and fork, her gaze shifting between him and Dumbledore, a strange light flickering in her eyes.
“Albus, Felius is right, Mr. Green indeed doesn’t need to take these basic courses.” Professor McGonagall watched Levin’s departing figure and asked, puzzled, “Then why did you refuse his request?”
Dumbledore sighed softly, his gaze, seen through his glasses, seemed to reach far into the distance. “Minerva, I know Levin’s talent and ability. But my concern is that he’s too engrossed in studying and practicing magic, neglecting to connect with his peers. He needs more than just knowledge; he needs friendship and the support of companions. I hope that through these courses, he can interact more with other young wizards his age, instead of studying magic in solitude.”
At this point, Dumbledore's tone became somewhat heavy: "He barely attended any classes last year. In that short time, he has mastered many dangerous spells. I worry that he will be misled by power and go astray. But I cannot tell him directly, lest I provoke his rebellious nature."
Snape sat to the side, a cold smile playing on his lips.
“Dumbledore, you always think you’re right.” He stood up, his black robes billowing behind him. “But have you ever considered that Levin Green might not need your care and guidance? He, like you, is a man with firm beliefs and pursuits.”
After saying that, Snape left the Great Hall without looking back, leaving Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall looking at each other in bewilderment.
That evening, Umbridge quietly left the brightly lit Hogwarts Castle.
Her figure hurried across the lawn under the cover of night, disappearing into the darkness in the distance, her destination the mansion of Minister of Magic Cornelius Fudge.
At this moment, in the Gryffindor common room, the fireplace flickered, providing Ron and Harry with a warm and peaceful learning environment.
They were both engrossed in their work, trying to complete their astronomy assignments.
The Quidditch training during the day left them exhausted, so much so that they didn't start their homework until the evening.
Suddenly, a sharp, short hoot from outside the window broke the silence of the night. Harry and Ron looked up at the same time and saw a long-eared owl gracefully perched on the windowsill, its large eyes curiously observing the two people inside.
“Is that Hermes?” Harry asked in surprise, recognizing the owl as Percy Weasley’s owl.
"Good heavens, it really is!" Ron exclaimed softly, dropping his quill and rushing to the window, muttering to himself in disbelief, "Why would Percy write to me?"
Ron carefully opened the window, and Hermes immediately flew in, landing lightly on Ron's unfinished paper. It stretched out one leg, with a letter tied to its foot.
Ron carefully untied the letter, and the owl flapped its wings and flew away, leaving an ink-stained footprint on Ron's sketch of Io.
Ron took the letter back to his chair, plopped down, and stared wide-eyed at the handwriting on the envelope: "Hogwarts, Gryffindor House, Ron Weasley."
“Yes, this is definitely Percy’s handwriting.” Ron immediately confirmed this.
Ron curiously unfolded the parchment scroll, his gaze sweeping down line by line of text, his brows gradually furrowing.
Dear Ron:
I just received some exciting news from the Minister for Magic—you've become a prefect at Hogwarts. This is truly a source of pride for the Weasley family! While this is a time for celebration, I also feel a little regretful because I didn't get to see you often during the summer holidays and missed many opportunities to share our joy.
However, there is something I must mention to you that has been troubling me. I know our parents have had dealings with Headmaster Dumbledore and those around him, but I don't think they were aware of the potential dangers of these interactions. Recently, a man named Stoddill Podmore, supposedly a close friend of Dumbledore, was arrested for trespassing at the Ministry of Magic. This makes me wonder if our parents have also been involved in similar illegal activities?
I don't want to criticize our parents, but I think they need to see the true colors of the people they're associating with. If they continue to hang out with these dangerous individuals, I'm afraid I won't be able to live under the same roof with them anymore. Ron, you're my brother, and I've always hoped you could see the truth. I hope you can tell Mom about this; perhaps it will make them reconsider their social circles.
I have been fortunate enough to escape the shame of associating with these people in time. The minister was magnanimous and gave me a chance to start over. I sincerely hope and implore you, Ron, not to let family ties blind you to the wrong nature of our parents' beliefs and actions. I sincerely hope that one day they will realize their mistakes. And when that day comes, I will gladly accept their heartfelt apology.
I know you have a good relationship with Harry Potter, but I must remind you that he may have some 777 issues. As far as I know, he can be mentally unstable at times, and even prone to violence. If you do have concerns about this, or find anything about Potter's behavior disturbing, I urge you to speak with Ms. Dolores Umbridge. She is a very lovely and easy-going woman, and I'm sure she would be happy to offer you some advice. Please remember that your safety and future are more important than any friendship.
Please consider my suggestion carefully, Ron. I look forward to your reply and hope that we can work together for the honor and future of our family.
good luck!
Percy
After reading the letter, Ron's face showed deep disgust, as if he had eaten something filthy.
He casually shoved the letter into Harry's hand, his tone full of disdain: "Take a look at this."
Harry took the letter, quickly glanced at its contents, and then looked up at his red-haired friend.
“Hmm—” he deliberately dragged out the word, as if considering how to phrase it, “If you want to—uh—how was it again?” He looked down at Percy’s letter again, then looked up and smiled, “Oh, right—break ties with me. I swear, I will never be violent.”
Ron's face darkened further. He stretched out his hand and said firmly, "Give me back the letter."
Harry shrugged and handed the letter back.
“He is—” Ron said excitedly, tearing Percy’s letter in half, “the world—” he tore the letter into four pieces, “the biggest—” he tore the letter into eight pieces, “a fool.”
After roaring, Ron threw the shredded paper in his hand into the fireplace.
The flames instantly engulfed the pieces of paper, and Ron's anger gradually dissipated as the flames leaped.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Then he turned to Harry and said, "Come on, we need to finish this before dawn."
As he spoke, he pulled Professor Sinister's paper in front of him again.

Chapter 515 Group Transformation
The Hogwarts Library was empty and quiet late at night. The lights between the bookshelves shone alone in the silence, and the silvery moonlight shone through the windows onto the wooden desks, creating a dappled pattern of light and shadow.
Levin and Hermione occupied the quietest corner of the library, with only the sound of Hermione's quill pen gently gliding across parchment echoing in the darkness.
Levin had finished his paper. He sat upright, his gaze drifting between the reference books Hermione had laid out on the table. Most of the books were about economics and management, and certainly not from the Hogwarts library.
—In the eyes of wizards, these books do not belong to the category of precious books at all; they are just some nonsense of Muggles, and cannot even be considered books... If it weren't for the fact that Hogwarts has a Muggle Studies class, there probably wouldn't be a single Muggle book here.
These books were all brought from the Levin family library.
After all, only a Muggle-born wizard like him, someone who had personally experienced the glorious civilization of Muggles in his previous life, would value this knowledge.
"Finally, I've come up with a rough plan." Hermione stretched lightly, put down her quill, and looked tired.
"May I take a look?" Levin asked curiously, pointing to the stack of parchment in front of Hermione.
Hermione nodded, a look of anticipation on her face: "Of course, I'd also like to hear your advice."
As she spoke, she wiped her eyes and rubbed her face, trying to wash away the fatigue on her face.
Levin took the heavy proposal and his eyes quickly scanned the pages.
After a long while, he slowly put down the plan in his hand and took a deep breath.
"We will consolidate our industrial group, implement unified management and operations, and establish a private bank..."
Levin softly reiterated the core of the plan, "I remember we talked about this a long time ago, and you actually wrote a detailed plan. Hermione, you are truly remarkable."
His admiration was palpable.
To complete such a detailed plan requires not only an excellent mind, but also a great deal of time and effort.
Even if there are still some shortcomings, just completing such a framework is a remarkable achievement.
Thinking of this, Levin felt a little ashamed. He seemed to be too engrossed in the world of magic, focusing on the power he possessed, while neglecting the management and operation of the real world.
He clearly had such a good idea, but he hadn't put it into action yet, and had to rely on Hermione to help him realize it.
“It wasn’t just me, Cho Chang also provided me with a lot of help.” Levin’s praise made Hermione’s cheeks blush slightly, and she looked at him with bright eyes: “Besides, all the inspiration for this is thanks to you for the initial inspiration~”
Then, she looked at Levin expectantly: "Do you think this plan is feasible? Can we really operate according to this plan?"
Levin nodded without hesitation: "This plan is not only logically sound, but also highly feasible. If we follow the steps, we can indeed turn it into reality."
Levin offered strong support for Hermione's plan. He had been troubled by his lack of time, feeling bogged down in the minutiae of running the business and unable to fully dedicate himself to the more important magical research.
The traditional management methods of the wizarding world seem to be stuck in the ancient times of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, so inefficient that he cannot tolerate them.
"Hermione, you've really helped me a lot."
Levin remarked, "If this plan is implemented, I can completely get rid of those tedious business decisions and only need to occasionally pay attention to the establishment of new technologies and industries, providing the necessary technical support. This will free up more of my time to focus on my magical research."
“However, I think we can consider more when it comes to specific industry choices.” Levin paused, then suggested, “I think we can also vigorously develop the herbal medicine, potion, and bio-manufacturing industries. Do you see? We have many unique advantages in these areas.”
As Levin spoke, Hermione flitted across the parchment with her quill, writing rapidly as he narrated.
"The flower fairies and tree spirits in the magic forest can be fully utilized. Their talents can greatly enhance the growth rate of magical herbs. If fully utilized, large-scale production of herbs can be achieved. In addition, arcane magic can precisely adjust air temperature, humidity, and climate, which is very advantageous in controlling the growth environment."
Levin smiled slightly and continued, "In that case, we can use these advantages to specialize in producing herbs that are rare on the market and require demanding cultivation conditions. As for commonly used herbs, large-scale centralized procurement will suffice. In this way, we can secure a place in the herb market." After discussing magical plants, he moved on to magical animals.
“And then there are the materials produced by magical creatures,” Levin said. “Besides herbs, the materials produced by magical creatures are also a major advantage for us. Our Enchanted Forest, Forbidden Forest, and Magical Creature Reserve are all sources of valuable magical creature materials. However, to fully breed these valuable magical creatures in these places, we need some special methods.”
Hermione's eyes lit up with curiosity: "Special methods? What do you mean?"
Levin pondered for a moment, then said, "Actually, we can learn from Hagrid's experience in forced breeding of species. He has unique insights and methods in this area, which I believe can help us quickly breed amazing species suitable for large-scale farming."
He paused, seemingly sketching out a future blueprint in his mind: "As for the breeding work, the unicorns Larri in the Enchanted Forest should be able to handle some of it. They live in harmony with nature and are natural leaders among magical creatures. But elsewhere, we might need the assistance of the centaurs. They have a deep bond with magical creatures, and I have a pretty good relationship with Daisy, the druid from the centaur tribe. This might provide us with some unexpected help."
At this point, Levin waved his hand excitedly: "Once we solve these two problems, we will have a continuous supply of raw materials. With the raw materials under our control, the remaining processing will be much easier."
Hermione listened to Levin's description, her eyes shining with admiration:
"Industrialized production of precious potions...that's a brilliant idea, Levin."
However, she quickly raised a potential problem with the plan: "But how do we handle the medicinal materials and the specific potion production process? Many potion-making methods are very unique and difficult to achieve through industrialization."
"Indeed, if you only look at those textbooks, you might think that brewing potions is a fixed and unchanging process."
Levin shook his head slightly, pointing out the key point: "...But the potion-making process doesn't completely follow the book—I've long felt that our potion-making textbooks are a bit too rigid. They overemphasize the precision of the steps, requiring students to use the same methods as the authors, but they ignore the real reasons behind each step—in fact, many potion-making methods have several alternatives."
He thought for a moment and said, “In this regard, I think we can consult Professor Snape… I know you may have some prejudice against him, but I have to say that his expertise in potions is indeed very profound, and he is also very willing to share his knowledge. Over the years, he has taught me many unique potion-making techniques, which I have never seen in other books. They can be said to be his unique skills.”
Hermione pursed her lips upon hearing Levin's words: "Doesn't saying that make him seem even more biased? At least he's never given me any special treatment like that."
After hearing Hermione's words, Levin coughed twice. The idea of being favored by Snape didn't sound like a compliment.
He quickly adjusted his thoughts and continued, "Monthly fee? Group;:8"?5.76!:63.442 free", extraction times, yuan'! Chicken thorn' hedgehog pineapple, see group!, brief introduction add QQ. Free: accept 50% off purchasing agent';
"Hermione, you're right, but we still need to focus on the present. As long as we can adjust the way potions are made and achieve mass production of precious potions, I believe that in the near future we will be able to monopolize the potion industry."
He paused, his eyes gleaming with anticipation for the future: "Unlike magic televisions, which can be used for many years after purchase (Zhao Zhao Zhao), potions are consumables. Even though the magic world has a small population, the demand for potions is always continuous. This means we can quickly recoup our investment, giving us a significant advantage over industries that require huge investments and have long payback periods. We even have the opportunity to expand the potion industry into the international market!"
As Levin described it, Hermione's eyes gradually lit up.
She could almost see a monopolistic giant rising in the wizarding world.
"In addition, we should also prepare in advance for the war that may be triggered by that person's return."
Inspired by Levin, Hermione suggested adding the aspect of military equipment: "It is far from enough to simply improve everyone's spellcasting skills. We should consider developing some lethal magical items, which will not only improve the ability of ordinary wizards to defend themselves when they encounter Voldemort and his Death Eaters, but also provide the necessary armament for the entire wizarding world in the event of war."
She thought for a moment and added, "On the other hand, if war breaks out, both officials of the Ministry of Magic and ordinary wizards will need these things to arm themselves for a sense of security. After all, the arms trade has always been a highly profitable industry throughout history."
As Hermione spoke, more ideas and details flooded her mind.
