With extraordinary comprehension, I built a floating city at Hogwarts.

Snape was having an affair with Karkaroff.

Still in the rose garden!

No wonder they didn't attend the dance; they were hiding here!

Professor Snape, have you finally embarked on this path of no return?

"...I don't understand why you're making such a fuss, Igor."

“Severus, you can’t pretend this didn’t happen!” Karkaroff’s voice sounded frightened and hoarse, as if afraid of being overheard. “It’s become increasingly obvious over the months. I’m very worried now, I can’t deny it—”

“Then run away,” Snape said impatiently. “Run away—I’ll make an excuse for you. But I want to stay at Hogwarts.”

Snape and Karkaroff turned a corner.

Snape, wand in hand, blasted the rose bushes apart.

He had a stern face and a very unpleasant expression.

Screams erupted from many flower bushes, and several dark figures darted out from within.

"Ten points deducted from Ravenclaw, Fawcett!"

Snape said fiercely—a girl ran past him.

"Hufflepuff also loses ten points, Stebbins!"

Another boy chased after the girl.

Karkaroff looked somewhat alarmed as he watched the two young wizards walk away. He nervously reached up to touch his goatee, then twirled it around his fingers.

“It seems this isn’t a good place to talk.” Snape glanced in the direction of Levin and Hermione, then strode away, his long black robes billowing behind him. Karkaroff followed Snape hastily away.

“Look at his last look, he’s noticed us!” Hermione whispered.

“Of course, but as long as it’s not exposed, there’s no problem, right?” Levin reassured him.

"Why is Karkaroff so worried?" Hermione asked in a low voice.

“He and Professor Snape were both Death Eaters—or at least they used to be—remember what I said? The Dark Lord is coming back; they've probably received the news.” Levin answered Hermione simply.

Hermione was slightly surprised.

He could barely accept the fact that Snape had been a Death Eater.

After all, from first to third grade, she felt that this Potions professor had ill intentions.

Who would have thought that Principal Karkarov was also one of them?

"How is that possible? He's the headmaster..." Hermione was a little confused.

“But that’s Durmstrang,” Levin shrugged. “They’ve already had a Dark Lord, so it’s not a big deal to find another Death Eater as headmaster.”

Levin was referring to Grindelwald, the first Dark Lord, who was a Durmstrang dropout.

Many truly ruthless individuals are former college dropouts.

“That’s true.” Hermione nodded, then thought of Karkaroff’s shameless behavior when he was grading.

It's normal for someone like that to be a Death Eater.

"So, Karkaroff's plan is... to escape?" She saw through his bluster and came to this conclusion.

“It seems so,” Levin analyzed. “He had no choice but to run. After Voldemort’s downfall, Karkaroff gave up the names of many Death Eaters in order to get out of prison. He was the one who was most afraid of Voldemort’s resurrection.”

Hermione frowned. "But he ran away. What about Durmstrang?"

“That’s a good question,” Levin blinked, suddenly having an idea. He looked at Hermione and asked, “Why do you think Dumbledore held the Triwizard Tournament?”

Why hold a three-way championship? What kind of question is that?

Hermione thought for a moment and gave her answer: "To promote competition among the young wizards, as well as cooperation and exchange among the three schools."

“Standard answer,” Levin nodded. “Anything else? Consider what’s happened recently.”

"What's been happening lately?" Hermione pondered for a moment, then suddenly said, "He's also planning to unite the three major high schools to fight the Dark Lord?"

“Smart.” Levin patted the girl’s head with concern. “Don’t underestimate Dumbledore. He has his own deep-seated plans for many of the things he does.”

This point, 820, can be seen from many details in the original work.

Durmstrang is far away and has a tradition of using dark magic, so let's leave that aside for now.

In the original story, both Headmaster Beauxbatons and the warriors joined the fight against Voldemort after the Tournament.

Mrs. Maxime, together with Hagrid, made efforts to win over the giants.

Fleur became a member of the Weasley family and joined the fight against Voldemort.

At this point, Hermione suddenly grabbed Levin's hand excitedly: "I've got it! Karkaroff's escape is our chance. We can send someone to replace him and become the headmaster of Durmstrang, just like Barty Crouch Jr. did for Moody."

Having said that, she looked intently at Levin.

"Is it right that I'm issuing orders so casually, getting Durmstrang fully involved in the fight against the Dark Lord?"

"Ah this"

Levin hesitated for a moment, then nodded.

"You're right."

In fact, he was also quite taken aback by Hermione's sudden idea:

Goodness, where have your thoughts wandered off to?

Levin's original plan was to demonstrate his side's strength and control Durmstrang in exchange for protecting Karkaroff.

Who would have thought Hermione could come up with such a solution, directly replacing it with a compound decoction?

Even Levin had to admit: You seem to be going a bit too far.

But thinking about it carefully, this method is much more effective than Levin's.

Karkaroff's willingness to betray the Dark Lord and provide a large number of Death Eaters for his own protection demonstrates that he is a two-faced person.

Given his shameless nature, trying to control him to make Durmstrang fight Voldemort might not be very effective.

Hermione's idea is more direct.

Levin even had a plan: simply keep a close watch on Karkaroff, and once he tries to escape, capture him directly. This way, he would have both the ingredients for the Polyjuice Potion and the memories and intelligence necessary to impersonate Karkaroff.

Since Karkarov escaped voluntarily, capturing him wouldn't alert anyone.

The picture shows Hermione.

Chapter 350 Ronnie, Hogwarts' Own Cinderella

"Hermione, I must say, your idea is really bold and clever," Levin exclaimed.

Before we knew it, this girl had grown up.

Hermione blinked and said smugly, "Of course, you said I'm the smartest witch at Hogwarts. Isn't that right, Mr. Grimm?"

“Yes, Mrs. Green.” Levin took Hermione’s small hand and unconsciously kneaded it.

Levin watched as Hermione's lips parted slightly in surprise, then she blushed instantly, seemingly quite taken aback by the address.

The two continued forward, and the further they walked, the more their figures overlapped.

Then they came to a large stone reindeer sculpture. Beyond the stone reindeer, they saw a tall fountain with splashing, sparkling water.

Two indistinct, enormous figures sat on a stone bench, gazing at the moonlit spring. Then, Hagrid's voice rang out.

"Is it your mother or your father?" he asked in a strangely hoarse voice.

It seems they've intruded on someone else's date, but if this continues, the date might have to be called off.

Levin looked around, then back at the path, and pulled the still somewhat dazed Hermione away, hiding her in a nearby rose bush.

“I—I don’t understand what you mean, Hagrid…”

Ms. Maxim said softly, her deep voice carrying a hoarse sound.

Hagrid was about to open his mouth to explain when a familiar voice suddenly rang in his mind, interrupting him: "Don't mention your damn giant blood."

"What?" Hagrid exclaimed in surprise, looking around as he did so.

"What? What?" Mrs. Maxim glared at Hagrid reproachfully, wondering why he was so startled.

At the same time, Hagrid heard a voice in his mind explain, "Don't be alarmed, I am Levin Green, I'm over there in the rose bushes, and I'm communicating with you telepathically using magic. If you want this date to continue, listen to me."

Hagrid looked in the direction Levin pointed and, sure enough, saw a familiar face.

“Okay,” Hagrid muttered, agreeing with Levin’s suggestion.

He greatly admired Levin's skill in wooing women and had previously consulted Levin on how to pursue Mrs. Maxim.

Now that someone is willing to provide on-site guidance, he is naturally happy to accept.

“Don’t speak, just think it in your mind,” Levin reminded him again. “Listen, Hagrid, if I were you, I wouldn’t bring up giant blood at this time. Not everyone is as optimistic as you. Wizards’ blood discrimination runs deep. Mrs. Maxim is very concerned about her image; she won’t tolerate others…”

This matter was mentioned.

“Oh, wow,” Hagrid exclaimed, suddenly realizing something, and asked, “How did you know I’m a half-giant?”

"."

The voice in my head fell silent briefly, clearly speechless at this foolish question.

Nonsense, do you really think your three-meter height is common among wizards?

After a moment, Levin said weakly, "...because my grades in Fantastic Beasts are very good...anyway, don't dwell on this issue."

"Oh, oh, oh!" Hagrid chuckled and scratched the back of his head, then asked, "If I can't talk about bloodlines, how am I supposed to continue the conversation with her?"

“Say whatever comes to mind, talk about your life,” was Levin’s answer. “In fact, you two should both be aware of your giant-hybrid status. The fact that she’s willing to date you means she’s completely accepting of you, so you can talk to her about anything except taboo topics. Mrs. Maxim, as the head of Beauxbatons College…”

"He's much more cunning than you. For someone like him, sincerity is the only way to win."

After listening to Levin's long explanation, Hagrid thought about it but still had no clue.

"Say what you mean... say what you mean..."

He scratched the back of his head with his large hand and turned to Madam Maxim, saying, "Uh, so, do you still live with your parents? I live alone at Hogwarts. I have a younger brother, and if I could find him, I'd like to bring him to the Forbidden Forest to live with me… I have some savings in Gringotts, about thirty thousand Galleons…"
