Chapter 78 Stunningly Beautiful, Blue-Eyed Man
Chapter 78 Stunningly Beautiful, Blue-Eyed Man
Before boarding the plane to Country Y, Ning Yao removed the human skin mask from her face and put on an identity mask that she often used abroad.
With her fair complexion, high nose bridge, and sophisticated Western-style makeup, Ning Yao looked stunning and arrogant, a stark contrast to her ordinary face in China. She exuded a flamboyant and high-class aura.
Looking at herself in the mirror, Ning Yao smiled with satisfaction and tucked her specially bleached straw-yellow hair behind her ears.
Inside the first-class cabin of an international flight, a slender and tall foreign woman slowly walked along in high heels, dragging a small red leather suitcase. After glancing at her seat number, she handed the suitcase to the flight attendant next to her, giving him a beautiful and flamboyant smile.
The flight attendant was charmed by Ning Yao, and blushed as he helped her put away her luggage before politely leaving.
After sitting down, Ning Yao crossed her long, white legs, comfortably reached out and pulled out a magazine, which she then began to read.
A moment later, someone sat down next to her. Noticing the movement, Ning Yao glanced at the person indifferently.
Sitting next to her was a black-haired, blue-eyed man with frighteningly pale skin, unlike that of Asians. He was handsome and devilish, like a European vampire with noble blood.
His appearance was so outstanding that Ning Yao glanced at him a few more times.
Noticing Ning Yao's gaze beside him, the man turned his face and met her eyes expressionlessly.
Ning Yao was caught peeking and felt somewhat embarrassed. She nodded slightly and smiled sweetly.
The man, perhaps used to being stared at like this, smiled slightly upon seeing Ning Yao's reaction, but said nothing.
The plane soon reached takeoff time. After a brief run-up, the cabin slowly retracted its wheels and lifted off the ground.
Ning Yao put down the magazine in her hand, picked up the thin blanket from the plane to cover herself, turned her head slightly, closed her eyes and fell asleep.
During the flight, Ning Yao slept restlessly, and in her half-awake state, she seemed to hear the sound of a little girl crying.
Startled, she opened her eyes and sat bolt upright, almost reflexively thinking it was her daughter's voice. She quickly looked around.
Disturbed by Ning Yao's sudden movement of getting up, the blue-eyed man beside her glanced at her.
When Ning Yao saw the blue-eyed man, she realized that she wasn't at home, but on a plane bound for Y country.
After the initial sadness, a profound sense of emptiness and loneliness washed over me, filled with longing for those children.
The crying little girl was sitting in the row in front of Ning Yao. From her angle, she could see a distinguished man in a suit holding a girl who looked about four or five years old. The girl was crying so hard that her little face was already flushed.
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell? Tell Dad." The man lowered his voice and coaxed gently, but even with his gentle tone, he couldn't hide the anxiety in his eyes.
He didn't know what was wrong with his daughter all of a sudden; she was making a fuss and couldn't answer when he asked her where she felt unwell.
The little girl cried for a while longer, her voice growing softer and weaker, her face gradually losing its rosy hue, her lips turning frighteningly white, and finally her head drooped listlessly in the man's arms, and she remained motionless.
The man was sweating profusely and frantically called for the airline staff, his loud voice instantly attracting the attention of all the first-class passengers.
Several flight attendants arrived and performed first aid on the little girl, but to no avail. They then used their walkie-talkies to communicate with the captain, explaining the situation and hoping he could make an emergency landing as soon as possible. They then contacted ground staff to call an ambulance.
Seeing this, Ning Yao frowned and stood up, wanting to go to the front seat to check on the little girl.
As I was getting up, a flight attendant stopped me and politely advised me in fluent and standard English: "Miss, please remain seated. We are about to find the nearest tarmac for an emergency landing. Please cooperate with our work."
"Let me go and see, maybe I can help the little girl," Ning Yao replied calmly.
The flight attendant hesitated for a moment before making way for Ning Yao, who quickly walked to the little girl's side to check on her condition.
After making a preliminary assessment, Ning Yao gave a result.
"It must be an asthma attack. Did you bring your medication?" Ning Yao turned to ask the man holding the little girl.
The man looked bewildered, seemingly unaware that his daughter had asthma, and shook his head, saying he had no medication.
"You didn't even know your daughter had asthma? Are you really her father?" Ning Yao's face suddenly turned cold as she looked at the man with suspicion.
"What nonsense are you spouting, woman!" The man was furious and immediately questioned Ning Yao, "Are you a medical professional? What makes you think my daughter has asthma?"
“Although I am not a doctor, I have medical knowledge,” Ning Yao explained.
"You're not a doctor, so what are you drawing conclusions about? I'm warning you, don't touch my daughter again!" The man was already anxious and felt that Ning Yao was causing trouble. He immediately raised his hand to drive her away, his face full of displeasure.
Ning Yao wanted to go forward, but was stopped by the flight attendant.
"Excuse me, miss, you are not a medical worker and cannot come into contact with patients without permission."
“She definitely won’t make it to landing. She needs immediate first aid. There are no other medical personnel on the plane, but I know medicine. Why can’t I try?” Ning Yao retorted coldly.
The man hesitated, while the little girl in his arms had already turned purple; the situation was extremely bad.
Ning Yao didn't want to delay any longer and immediately started cursing.
"Are you really this little girl's father? What are you hesitating for at this critical moment? Do you want to watch your daughter die on the plane? I don't think you're the little girl's father, you're a murderer!"
The man, dressed in an expensive suit, was clearly not an ordinary person. He had never been criticized so harshly before, and upon hearing this, he immediately became enraged and launched an attack on the flight attendants in the cabin.
"Find a place to land right now so my daughter can get treatment, and get this crazy woman away from me. I will never let her touch my daughter!"
The flight attendants were in a real predicament. First-class passengers were people they couldn't afford to offend, and Ning Yao hadn't done anything wrong, so they couldn't be rude to her.
The scene descended into chaos.
Seeing that the girl was almost out of breath, Ning Yao gritted her teeth and decided to rush over regardless and treat her first.
Nothing is more important than human life. If her father continues to obstruct her, she will probably have no choice but to resort to violence.
Just as Ning Yao took a step, the blue-eyed man who had been sitting next to her spoke, addressing the man holding the child.
"Mr. Xing, let this young lady save the person first. I can vouch for her; she won't harm your daughter."
"Who are you?" the man asked suspiciously, sizing up the blue-eyed man.
The black-haired, blue-eyed man stood up abruptly, walked up to the man called President Xing, and extended his hand to shake his.
After a brief moment of distraction, President Xing immediately realized what was happening and stood up to express his sincere apologies to Ning Yao.
"Miss, I'm so sorry, my attitude was off just now. Please, you must save my daughter! I beg you!"
