Moen nodded and didn't say anything more.
Sympathy and pity are not really appropriate attitudes; they don't help at all, and Kiko doesn't need these emotions.
However, Moen really couldn't think of a way to solve the problem of having a low profile. In fact, he had thought about solving this problem a few years ago, but sometimes he would even forget about it.
Mirajane, Lisanna, and Rachel immediately understood; they knew that Keko didn't need anyone to pity her situation.
Once everyone returned to normal, they continued chatting casually. No one tried to pull Qi Ke into the conversation, but if Qi Ke took the initiative to speak, everyone would listen attentively to her opinion on a particular matter.
For Qi Ke, this state is actually one she likes and is comfortable with. She is not an flamboyant person and does not enjoy the feeling of being the center of attention.
Soon, the cleaning was finished, and Rachel had also completed the repairs to the damaged tables and chairs. The group then left the guild hall.
"Click."
Moen locked the guild gate and all other doors and windows. Although no one in Magnolia dared to cause trouble at Fairy Tail, it was always wise to be cautious. Moen also arranged for several crows to keep watch around the guild.
See you tomorrow~
At the entrance of the guild hall, everyone waved goodbye to each other. Rachel and Kiko walked together, while Moen walked with Mirajane.
The Lisanna sisters together.
"Moen? Did you come over with Erza and Lucy last night for something? Why did you suddenly leave?"
As they walked, Lisanna chattered on about the interesting things that had happened that day. Then, she suddenly changed the subject and brought up the question that Mirajane had just wanted to ask.
"Oh yeah? What are you all doing here together?"
Mirajane, looking curious, asked the same question.
"If we include everyone, there's Natsu, Gray, and Happy too."
Moen glanced at Lisanna and added, "It's as if Lisanna is talking to me as if he's acting alone with Erza and Lucy."
"Omitted~"
Lisanna blinked, hid behind Mirajane, and stuck her tongue out at Moen; she said it on purpose.
"This is a long story..."
After considering it for a moment, Moen finally decided to tell Mirajane and Lisanna what had happened. Since it was all over, there was nothing he couldn't say, so he didn't ask Lucy to keep it a secret. He told her to write it into her novel if she wanted.
Of course, most things in novels are considered artistic embellishments or pure fiction, and probably very few people actually believe them.
"Moenge? Is this part of your new novel?"
After Moen gave a brief account of the "Memories of Time" story, Lisanna asked a question with a strange expression.

'
Moen's lips twitched. Some things are just like that; they're so outrageous that no one believes you when you tell the truth. Instead, they think you're making things up.
"If you think it's made up, there's nothing I can do about it."
Moen was too lazy to explain and simply sent "There's nothing I can do about it" to end the game.
"Really?!"
Moen's attitude made Lisanna's eyes widen. She thought Moen would say, "I was just kidding," but it turned out to be true!
"So...you really went back to six years ago?"
Mirajane asked in disbelief.
"Genuine or genuine."
Moen raised an eyebrow and gave an affirmative answer.
"Did they see us?!"
Lisanna immediately squeezed in between Moen and Mirajane, leaning forward and tilting her head, her curiosity almost overflowing. This was going back in time!
"I saw her. Mira was a little delinquent back then, and you were just a kid."
Moen reached out and pressed down on Lisanna's craning head, pushing her back and forcing her to go to Mirajane's other side.
"It's not a trivial matter! Humph!"
Lisanna hummed twice in dissatisfaction, then clung to her sister's arm and behaved herself, no longer squeezing in here or there.
"Six years ago, we had just joined the guild."
Mirajane didn't react much to the "little delinquent" label, which was indeed how she was back then, after all, she had only been in the guild for a short time.
"This matter... really won't have any impact?"
Mirajane hesitated, mainly because she hadn't been involved and hadn't witnessed it all firsthand.
"Of course, trust my handling of the situation."
Moen smiled and gave Mirajane a thumbs up, telling her to relax.
"Next time something this important happens, you can call me along."
Mirajane nodded, finally revealing her true concerns. She believed Moen could handle it, but she hoped she could be there to help next time.
"...Okay, I'll definitely do it next time."
Moen didn't argue or say that this was none of his business, but instead obediently agreed, making his stance clear.
Mira's lips curled up slightly. Now she felt comfortable and was no longer awkward because Moen and Erza had shared the same experience.
"Luckily, I wasn't involved in this. It sounds so complicated; if I messed it up, I'd feel like a heinous criminal!"
Lisanna chimed in, saying that while she also found the whole thing interesting, the pressure she was under was just too much.
"If it were you, it would indeed be a bit difficult."
Moen nodded seriously, agreeing with Lisanna's statement.
'
Lisanna was speechless. Moen's words made her sound like she was very unreliable.
"Even Natsu can complete the mission smoothly! How come I can't?!"
Lisanna questioned with dissatisfaction. She felt that she was at least more reliable than Natsu, not in terms of strength, but in terms of handling affairs and acting skills. How could that guy Natsu be better than her?
"Natsu's main job is to cause trouble."
Moen spoke calmly, which made Mirajane cover her mouth and laugh, and also silenced Lisanna, who had been so aggressive just moments before.
If we're talking about causing trouble, then no one is better at it than Nanatsu.
"Making trouble... isn't entirely out of the question..."
Lisanna was still being stubborn. She kept gesturing with her hands and skipped ahead, her skirt fluttering with her movements, trying to prove with her body language that she could also be good at causing trouble.
"Look at my imposing presence!"
Lisanna called out, while Moen and Mirajane just smiled at each other, watching her clown around under the dim streetlights with a mixture of helplessness and indulgence.
Lisanna remains as lively and adorable as she was when she was a child. Without any unexpected mishaps, she is still well protected, like a sunflower growing carefree in a greenhouse.
Mirajane couldn't help but turn her head and look up at Moen walking beside her. The boy's profile was clearly defined in the hazy night, still so stunning. The warm yellow light softly outlined his straight nose and clear jawline.
He looked at the chattering Lisanna with a doting smile, as if he were watching his mischievous younger sister.
All of this was thanks to Moen. It wasn't that she protected Lisanna's girlish heart, but that Moen turned the tide, steadily steered the ship through the turbulent currents of fate, saved everything for them, and protected the peace and laughter under this roof.
Mirajane felt at ease, enveloped in a heavy, warm sense of security, because Moen would always protect everything about Fairy Tail, guarding their hard-won, sparkling happy life, forever.
Of course, Mirajane herself will do everything in her power to protect him, as will everyone in the guild, including Erza.
"That's wonderful..."
'
Mirajane couldn't help but murmur a sigh, her voice as soft as a sigh, yet also as a sigh of satisfaction with everything.
"Yes, you're home now. Go back and rest."
Moen casually added that he had already spotted Elfman's imposing figure.
"Moen! You came back together?"
Elfman saw them too, and the big man immediately grinned, revealing a憨厚 (honest and simple) smile, and strode over to greet them warmly, his wooden shoes making a thumping sound on the stone pavement.
"Okay, Elfman, Mira, Lisanna, see you tomorrow."
Moen smiled and nodded, then waved goodbye to Mirajane and the other two.
See you tomorrow~
The three sisters responded in unison, waving goodbye to him. Mirajane's smile looked especially gentle under the warm light at the doorway.
Moen didn't stop, turned around and continued walking. His figure quickly disappeared into the deeper night. He returned to his quiet little house, where he washed up and rested.
With a burden lifted from her heart, Moen believed she could have a good dream tonight.
The next morning, Moen, unusually, did not get up early and slept in bed until nine o'clock, which was very late for him. Usually, by this time, he would have already finished his morning exercise, eaten breakfast, and was already in the guild preparing for work.
"It's nice to take a break once in a while."
Moen wasn't in a hurry. He accepted the result with a smile. In fact, it was his own choice. If he hadn't wanted it this way, he would have gotten up long ago.
Moen got up slowly, finished washing up slowly, got dressed, and headed out to the guild hall in a good mood.
When Moen finally pushed open the heavy door of the guild, the guild hall was already bustling with activity and noise. Sunlight streamed in through the tall windows, illuminating the dust motes floating in the air. Everyone was gathered together, chattering away, mainly Natsu, Gray, Lucy, and Happy.
"So that really was Lucy?!"
Marcao exclaimed in disbelief as Lucy recounted her visit to the guild hall six years ago.
"Yes, that's me."
Lucy smiled and gave an affirmative answer.
This has left many people scratching their heads, as not many people actually remember it, since it was just a small incident six years ago.
Moreover, because of Moen's involvement, the blonde bunny girl left quickly, and very few people actually remembered the details clearly.
"So that's how it is!"
A commotion erupted as everyone found it utterly unbelievable, their chatter echoing like boiling water in the guild hall.
After seeing Moen enter, many people asked him questions, since Moen had known all of this since he was a child.
"Don't worry about it. It's normal that you don't recognize Lucy. After all, she wasn't even part of our group back then. I only recognized them after I met Erza when she was an adult."
Moen explained that this explanation was very reasonable, and that no one else had seen Erza and the others after they grew up; only Erza and Natsu were the ones who witnessed it.
As a child, Erza somehow failed to recognize her adult self, while Natsu, as a child, only had memories of those "monsters."
There's nothing we can do about it. After all, Natsu was the one who suffered the most, the one who got beaten up. It's normal that he didn't have the mind to pay attention to other details, and he's never been a meticulous person in life.
"Moen is really good at holding back! I definitely couldn't!"
"Yeah! They kept it a secret for six years!"
The discussion continued, and everyone expressed their admiration for Moen for keeping this matter buried in his heart for six years.
"This proves that I am someone who can keep secrets."
Moen chuckled and boasted, which everyone agreed with; at least in this matter, no one could question Moen's ability to keep secrets.
After a period of chaotic commotion in the guild, the enthusiasm for discussion gradually subsided, the noise slowly calmed down, and everyone started to busy themselves with their own things: some formed teams, some looked at quests, and some continued drinking and chatting.
Natsu walked up to the task board with a crooked mouth and a disgruntled look on his face. The reason for his dissatisfaction was that he had just failed to gain everyone's approval.
There was no way around it, because he didn't play a role in this incident; instead, he was constantly being criticized by Erza, Gray, and Lucy.
Most importantly, Natsu himself couldn't defend himself because he was indeed very passive. Apart from beating up his younger self, he didn't help with anything else, and he didn't even know how he got back.
"Hmph! I'm going to pull off a big one!"
Natsu angrily flipped through the task list on his task board, his fighting spirit practically spitting fire.
This made Nabu, the "fixed NPC" guarding the quest log, worry. He was afraid that Natsu would burn the quest log, and if he did, Natsu would definitely get another beating.
"Huh? What kind of mission is this? It's all gloomy."
Natsu's gaze was drawn to a request form that was unusually dark in color. He took the form down and brought it close to his eyes to examine it closely. His rough fingers ran across the paper, and then he immediately beamed with joy, his eyes shining.
"50 J! Deciphering the meaning of the text! It's actually that simple?!"
Natsu's shouting immediately drew the attention of everyone around him.
Five hundred thousand J is neither a lot nor a little, but the main thing is that the task format is very special, as it only involves interpreting the meaning of text.
Without having to run around or risk your life in battle, you can easily get 50 J, which is quite attractive. Many people gathered around, peeking and looking.
"This is indeed a very rare request."
Gray leaned closer, glanced at the text on the commission slip, and immediately looked troubled, unable to resist exclaiming, "Isn't this ancient script? Who can decipher this?!"
The commotion attracted everyone's attention, and Moen also came over out of curiosity to look at the strange request form.
Ancient scripts...
'
Looking at the ancient characters on the order form that resembled scribbles, Moen's lips twitched. These were genuine "ancient characters," looking somewhat like symbols carved on a stone tablet, exuding an ancient and mysterious aura.
"Moen? Do you understand?"
Natsu asked curiously, since he couldn't understand it at all.
"This script is very rare, but I do have a vague recollection of it. It seems to be ancient Humphera, a very magical language."
Moen frowned and thought about it seriously. He had indeed seen relevant information in the library. His fingertips traced the names above those strange symbols, as if he was recalling the strokes.
It has to be said that the library in "Fairy Tail" is truly a treasure trove, with countless undiscovered treasures hidden within.
The main problem is that the scope is too broad, with all sorts of miscellaneous books, making it difficult for non-professionals to see their value.
Books like these that involve the study of "ancient scripts" are only something that true enthusiasts like Levy would read, or that people like Moen who like to read a little bit of everything.
"Where's Levy? Let her come and see."
Moen glanced around but didn't see Levy. It seemed she was on a mission. What bad luck! She missed the chance to pick up money. This mission was practically tailor-made for her.
"I've been away for several days now, and I feel it's time to come back. It's just a nearby mission."
Kana spoke up, knowing what mission Levy had gone on, and thus able to roughly estimate when Levy would return.
