Chapter 122 The Shock of the Supreme Intelligence
Chapter 122 The Shock of the Supreme Intelligence
A woman in a dark blue suit is respectfully reporting to the machine.
A cold, emotionless voice emanated from within the sphere: "Very good. Continue to expand. The resources of the Milky Way are far from being fully exploited."
"There's one more thing," Miyanwa paused for a moment, "We've discovered an unusual energy fluctuation at the edge of the Vega system... possibly originating from the legendary Nine Realms."
"Nine Realms?"
The voice of the Supreme Intelligence fluctuated slightly, a rare occurrence in her long history of computation. After a brief silence, she continued, "Two hundred years ago, we discovered a forging race called the Dwarves on the edge of the Nine Realms. Their craftsmanship was unique, but their technology was too backward. At the time, my judgment was that the Nine Realms were not worth investing in our main fleet."
"And now?" Miyanwa asked.
"According to the latest information, the level of that energy fluctuation is far beyond the scope of conventional analysis. Even though the dwarves have been providing us with equipment for our analysis techniques, they pose no threat from that equipment. However, we need to pay attention to that area now."
The Supreme Intelligence commanded, "Send another reconnaissance fleet. If the Nine Realms truly pose a threat, then..."
Before he could finish speaking, the blue light throughout the hall suddenly flickered violently, emitting a piercing crackling sound. The supreme commander's voice became intermittent: "Detected... spatial tear... energy level..."
Miyanwa felt a sense of foreboding and suddenly turned around, placing his hand on the energy gun at his waist.
The space at the top of the hall began to distort, and a pitch-black crack appeared out of thin air. Dark red flames burned at the edge of the crack, and a suffocating sense of oppression emanated from it.
Two figures emerged from the crack. The man wore a dark gold robe and held a long spear in his hand. Behind him followed a woman, whose scarlet energy surged around her like flames.
Miyanwa's pupils constricted sharply: "Who are you people! This is the Kree Empire..."
The man raised his hand, and Mi Yanwa felt as if an invisible hand was pressing down on her throat. She struggled desperately, but it was no use. The man simply walked past her without even sparing her a glance.
"Wanda," Shendu said calmly.
Wanda understood, and with a flick of her finger, crimson energy flew from her fingertip, transforming into countless fine threads that pierced the walls of the hall. One fiber optic cable after another snapped, and sparks flew throughout the entire hall.
"Intruders." The Supreme Intelligence's tone finally regained its composure, now tinged with an unprecedented vigilance: "You are destroying the core of the Kree Empire; this act is considered a declaration of war!"
The Holy Lord walked up to the spherical structure and looked at the pulsating blue sphere: "You are the Supreme Intelligence?"
"I am," the Supreme Intelligence said calmly. "Your energy characteristics... are not in my database. Who are you?"
The Holy Lord did not answer, but stretched out his palm and placed it on the cold surface of the spherical structure, and the entire hall fell silent instantly.
The Supreme Intelligence's computing core was analyzing the man before it at top speed. The invisible optical cables inside the hall, which had not yet been destroyed, were flashing wildly. However, the Supreme Intelligence found that each analysis yielded a different conclusion than the last. Sometimes it was an ordinary person, sometimes an energy abyss, and sometimes a void with nothing at all.
"You are afraid," the Holy Lord suddenly said.
"Artificial intelligence is not something to be afraid of."
"Your computing speed suddenly increased by three hundred percent just now." The Holy Lord withdrew his hand, a smile playing on his lips: "That was your fear."
Wanda came behind Shendu, crimson energy surging around her, allowing her to immediately detect any anomalies within the hall.
The Holy Lord turned his back to the Supreme Wisdom, his voice not loud but clearly echoing throughout the hall: "Three months from now, the dwarves will forge a new batch of weapons for Asgard. I don't care how much you took from the dwarves before, from today onwards, don't even think about getting a single nail."
"You are threatening the Kree Empire," the Supreme Intelligence said coldly.
"A threat?" The Holy Lord chuckled dismissively. "This is a notification."
At this moment, Miyanwa finally broke free from that invisible force. Panting heavily, she pointed the energy gun at the back of the Holy Lord's head: "You're too arrogant! What do you think this place is! This is the Kree!"
Miyanwa's voice was interrupted again. The crimson energy, as if it had a life of its own, wrapped around Miyanwa's body and lifted her into the air. The crimson energy drilled into her body, and the intense pain made her scream involuntarily. The energy gun in her hand fell to the ground.
"My master doesn't like being interrupted," Wanda said calmly.
"Release her." A slight fluctuation appeared in the voice of the Supreme Intelligence: "We can negotiate."
The Holy Lord raised his hand, and Wanda withdrew her power. Miyanwa fell to the ground, trembling all over, unable to get up for a long time.
The Holy Lord continued to smile as he looked at the enormous blue sphere.
After a few seconds of silence, the Supreme Intelligence asked, "What do you want?"
The Holy Lord looked the sphere up and down, contemplating how to transfer its computing power to himself. It was a machine, unusable by the Mind Stone, and magic had no effect on it. It had already developed an independent will, and even the Rat Talisman was ineffective.
This was just a piece of waste that was of no use to him.
The Holy Lord shook his head, slammed the Spear of Eternity onto the ground, causing the entire hall to tremble and fine cracks to appear on the walls: "The Nine Realms are my territory. Your fleet should stay away."
The Holy Lord turned and walked into the spatial rift behind him, with Wanda following closely behind.
As the Holy Lord stepped halfway into the spatial rift, he seemed to remember something and said casually, "By the way, isn't there someone here named Carol Danvers?"
The Supreme Intelligence paused abruptly: "...She is one of our finest warriors."
Without turning his head, the Holy Lord said, "She's dead. I killed her."
The crack closed, and the hall fell into a deathly silence. The eerie blue light shone again, and Mi Yanwa slumped to the ground, his face filled with disbelief.
The Supreme Intelligence remained silent for a long time, and Miyanwa even thought it had stopped operating.
"Supreme Wisdom?" Miyanwa asked cautiously.
"Mobilize all reconnaissance teams." The Supreme Intelligence's voice regained its composure: "I want to know everything about that person."
"Do you... want to start a war?"
Another silence followed.
"No," said the Supreme Wisdom, "to wage war against that person is tantamount to... suicide!"
Miyanwa's eyes widened; she had never heard the Supreme Intelligence speak in such a tone before.
"But the Kree Empire will not remain silent forever," the Supreme Intelligence continued, its voice lowering. "We need... more time to calculate."
