Chapter 310 Lone Star
Chapter 310 Lone Star
Lone Star opened her eyes and looked around in confusion. She tried to extract some information from her mind, but found that she had no memory of anything except her name.
After sitting there for a while, Lone Star stood up and decided to find someone to ask first.
After walking for quite a while, she finally saw a figure and quickly ran over to stop the person.
"Excuse me, sir, where is this place?"
The man in front of him was in a bad mood because he had been stopped. When he looked up and saw Gu Xing's face, he was stunned and stood there for a while before he came back to his senses.
The man immediately changed his expression and said, "Miss, are you lost?"
Lone Star was very displeased with the look he was getting, and immediately turned and left.
The man was taken aback, then pounced on her. "Such a beautiful woman is offered to him willingly, he doesn't want to let her go. There's no one here who can save her."
"I'm really lucky today!"
The moment the man lunged forward, Lone Star, acting on instinct, threw a punch.
The man flew backwards like a parabola, breaking several trees in his path, and lay on the ground, his fate unknown.
Lone Star looked at her fist and then at the man's miserable state. She gleaned a piece of information: she possessed extremely high combat skills.
She decided that she would use force to question the next person she encountered.
As for the man from before, Gu Xing guessed that even if he didn't die, he would probably be crippled. Now that there was no one around, she naturally chose to run away.
As she moved further away from where she had just been, she slowed down, and the scene before her shocked her.
The entire mountain was covered in roses, in all sorts of colors, and they were incredibly beautiful.
The more Lonely Star looked at it, the more she liked it, and she made a decision in her heart: "If this place is unclaimed, she will take it over as her home."
Seeing a rose so red it looked like it was dripping blood, she knelt down, smelled it, and examined it closely. "This one is absolutely the most beautiful."
Just as she took it off, a voice came from behind her, "Is that you?" Nagato saw the red figure, and her voice trembled slightly.
Lone Star was startled, feeling like he'd been caught doing something wrong, but what this person was saying was really strange.
She turned around, hiding the flower behind her back, and was stunned when she saw Nagato. "This person's hair is prettier than the flowers in her hand."
When Nagato saw the person, he immediately recognized her as his Xing'er.
After three years, he finally waited for her.
"No, why does this person look like she's about to cry? She really only picked a flower, is it really that big of a deal?"
Lone Star handed over the flowers he had hidden behind his back. "Um... I didn't know you were the owner of this place. Here you go."
After she finished speaking, she placed the rose in his hand, and as they made close contact, her gaze couldn't help but fall on his hair.
"She doesn't remember him?" Nagato felt a pang of bitterness in his heart. Noticing her gaze, he smiled again. "His Xing'er really hasn't changed at all."
"So what if they forget him? They can rewrite their memories."
"Would you like to come to my house for a visit? There's something even better there," Nagato invited.
Lone Star nodded subconsciously, "Okay!"
As soon as the words left her mouth, she realized something was wrong. How could she have agreed when she didn't even know the person's name? She had completely forgotten the decision she had made earlier.
Lone Star followed Changmen to his home and saw the Rose Manor before her, which was completely rooted in her heart.
Nagato had been watching her facial expressions closely, and he breathed a sigh of relief.
"It's clear that Xing'er really likes this Rose Manor."
Lone Star grew increasingly fond of him, wishing she could possess him entirely. "If she were to win over this man in front of her, wouldn't her things be considered hers?"
"But isn't this a bit inappropriate?" Her little face was full of confusion.
Nagato was all too familiar with her appearance. If she didn't forget everything, he would have already held her in his arms. Now he could only take it slow.
After hesitating for a while, Lonely Star decided to think it over some more, just in case she met someone she liked even more.
Just as she was about to get up to say goodbye and leave, Nagato's voice rang out, "Hoshi... it's not very safe here at night. You can stay overnight and leave tomorrow."
"Wouldn't that be inappropriate? We've only known each other for a short time," Gu Xing said demurely, gazing at the sky. She didn't know where to go, and she didn't dislike this person at all.
"How could that be? If you're worried, I'll move to another house," Nagato said calmly.
After he finished speaking, he left the house.
Lone Star didn't try to stop him; instead, he began to examine the layout inside.
Looking at the empty living room, she always felt that something was missing.
"Perhaps Nagato likes this layout," she thought to herself.
Late at night, a deafening thunderclap woke the sleeping Lone Star.
She curled up in fear, and for a moment, she seemed to recall being struck by lightning many times.
Thunder rumbled continuously, and soon a torrential downpour began.
Nagato hadn't slept at all; he was afraid that when he woke up, it would all be a dream.
He wanted to go check on it as soon as it started thundering, but he forced himself to hold back.
"Xing'er, she's not afraid of thunder, so let's not let her misunderstand."
Nagato couldn't hold back for long, "He was secretly watching her from the window."
Looking through the window, Nagato saw Lone Star huddled in the corner and rushed in without thinking, pulling him into her arms.
Noticing that Lone Star was trembling, Nagato felt a pang of regret; he should have come sooner.
"Xing'er, don't be afraid... I'm here, it's alright."
Because of his words, Gu Xing gradually calmed down. Changmen's embrace made her feel very safe, and she slowly fell asleep.
When she woke up the next day, she opened her eyes to see Nagato lying next to her. Her mind went blank for a moment. "You...you...how did you get here?"
“Xing’er... Last night there was thunder and lightning, and I wanted to come see you, but I didn’t expect you to hug me and not let go as soon as I arrived.”
"Now I'm yours, you have to take responsibility for me," Nagato explained shyly.
Is...is that so?
"But..." Gu Xing lifted the blanket and looked, "Aren't her clothes perfectly intact?"
"Xing'er... I'm not lying to you, look here." Nagato pointed to his chest.
Lone Star looked in the direction he pointed and indeed saw many scratch marks.
As she looked at her, her nose suddenly started to itch. She quickly turned her head away and said defiantly, "That's all just your side of the story. Don't try to scam me. I... I won't fall for it."
"Xing'er... how could you think of me like that? How could I joke about my innocence?"
"Take a look and see if these scratches match your hand." Nagato looked aggrieved and took her hand, placing it on his chest.
Lone Star tried to pull his hand back, but Nagato held it firmly down.
Perhaps she herself didn't want to let go; her figure was just too attractive.
Unconsciously, she placed her hands on her chest and caressed them, and the atmosphere between them became increasingly intimate, with the temperature rising rapidly.
Just as Nagato was about to kiss those red lips, Gu Xing's mind cleared for a moment, "No...we haven't even known each other for a day."
She struggled to get up, but Changmen pulled her into his arms. "Xing'er...don't abandon me."
"No...I...I'm not ready yet," she stammered as she explained.
Suddenly, a pair of hot, soft lips covered hers, and the last vestige of clarity in her mind instantly crumbled.
Lone Star showed no resistance, which pleased Nagato greatly. He understood that this was her subconscious love for him; even if she forgot everything, the feeling was still there.
Otherwise, with so many loopholes, how could he have fooled her?
When Gu Xing woke up again, her face was full of despair. "She actually slept with someone she'd only known for less than a day?"
A glance at Nagato's face and physique followed, and the thought crossed her mind: "I won't lose out, I won't lose out..."
Just as she was about to slip away, Nagato opened her eyes, pulled her back into her arms, and said in a wronged voice, "Xing'er... are you going to abandon me again?"
"I...I didn't..." Seeing that he was like this, Lone Star quickly shook his head.
"Then...is it because I didn't satisfy you?" Nagato said with a serious expression.
She choked for a moment, then spoke up, "No... don't overthink it."
"Alright! How long are you going to keep touching my abs, Xing'er..." Nagato felt the little hands moving all over his body, her eyes somewhat dark and unreadable.
"Don't talk nonsense... Which eye saw it?" Lone Star's face instantly turned bright red; admitting it was out of the question.
Nagato smiled, grabbed her small hand, and pressed it back onto his abs. "Xing'er...do you like it?"
Faced with the sight of a handsome man, Lone Star nodded without any backbone.
Her reaction was exactly what Nagato expected. "His Hoshino hasn't changed at all... thankfully he's always maintained a great physique."
Then he whispered in her ear, "Xing'er... I'm not feeling well, I need to cool down..."
Lone Star instinctively wanted to refuse, but faced with beauty, he half-heartedly gave in, and the two figures intertwined once again.
"Nagato, we're already married, why are you still clinging to me every day? I'm not going to run away."
"Xing'er...are you finding me annoying?"
"No... but I recently read in a book that it's important to give each other personal space to keep things fresh so that the relationship can last."
"Xing'er, I can't do it, and what's written in the book isn't necessarily true. I just like to stick to you."
"But... what if you get tired of it someday?"
"There's no 'what if,' please trust your husband, okay? Don't say things like that again. We're going to be together for a very, very long time."
"Okay, my dear husband!"
"Xing'er...it's getting dark, we should rest."
"Honey, I think...it's really okay to keep things fresh every now and then."
"no..."
Nagato picked the person up in one go, and soon a beautiful symphony filled the room, with faint, melodious pleas for mercy also being heard.
