Chapter 254 Otherworldly Demon God
Chapter 254 Otherworldly Demon God
Lin Yeming keenly noticed the worry that flashed in Goldras's eyes: "Goldras, you seem to have thought of something?"
Goldras hesitated for a moment, then took a deep breath. "Actually... I came back this time not just to find Hill." Then, her expression became serious. "It's more about protecting Hill."
Hilbagun looked at Goldras curiously, tilting her head: "Sister, you underestimate me."
"With my strength, ordinary monsters can't withstand me."
“Just before that, I personally wiped out a Gadi that had invaded my area.”
As she spoke, she gave the impression that she was about to praise herself.
Goldras smiled gently at his sister's words, stroked her hair, and said, "Hill, you're amazing!"
“But this monster is no ordinary one.” Her expression grew even more serious. “I’m talking about a demon god from the subspace.”
Hilbagun blinked, clearly not fully grasping the gravity of the situation: "A demon god? More powerful than my sister?"
"In terms of destructive power, even a demon god can't do anything to me." Goldras wore a proud expression in front of his sister and Lin Yeming.
"However, the most special thing about this demon is his superpower."
"It's like the spacetime ability I possess."
After she finished speaking, she looked at Lin Yeming's expression, wanting to see his reaction.
Lin Yeming frowned: "A subspace demon god?"
He suddenly remembered a monster that had once given Tiga a hard time fighting.
The monster's name is Enermina, and its most unique abilities are interdimensional travel and the berserk electromagnetic waves that can put Tiga into a berserk state.
"Goldras, are you perhaps referring to the extradimensional demon god of the warp?"
Lin Yeming completed the information and inquired.
A hint of surprise flashed in Goldras's eyes: "You actually know the name of the Otherworldly Demon God? I clearly didn't say that?" She paused, carefully observing Lin Yeming's expression, "It seems you really are not an ordinary human."
"I feel relieved to have Hill in your care."
Lin Yeming nodded, his expression turning serious, and immediately began to make things up: "There is an ancient book on Earth called Taiping Fengtu Ji, which records many monsters, and Ainengmei is one of the most dangerous ones among them."
"It can travel through different spatial dimensions and is almost impossible to defeat by conventional means."
Hilbargon looked at the two of them curiously: "So this Ai... Ai something, is he so powerful? Are you going to stay and help Yeming, sister?"
Goldras shook her head and began to explain in detail again, perhaps intentionally for Lin Yeming to hear: "In terms of pure strength, I might be able to fight it. But what's most terrifying about it isn't its strength, but its ability to move freely between dimensions." She raised her hand, her fingertips shimmering with golden energy, "My spacetime ability can only briefly traverse within a fixed space, while it can completely roam outside of conventional space."
"So even your sister can't deal with it directly?" Hilbargon's expression finally turned serious.
“That’s right,” Goldras nodded. “As far as I know, the last time it appeared, a powerful Warrior of Light fought it for a long time and ultimately only managed to temporarily drive it away, without destroying it.”
"Besides that, this person is also a subordinate of the Time-Space Demon God Etelgar!"
Lin Yeming seemed thoughtful upon hearing the name: "Aitalga?" He murmured to himself, then shook his head, as if recalling some distant memory.
"Do you know the Time-Space Demon God Etelgar?" Goldras keenly noticed Lin Yeming's special reaction to Etelgar.
Lin Yeming came to his senses: "It's nothing. I've traveled to another world again because of a wormhole. I feel like I've heard this name somewhere before."
"By the way, it was a guy named Charlie who said it."
He turned around and pinned the blame on Charlie.
A flicker of surprise crossed Goldras's eyes: "Chariga? You know Chariga too?" Her expression grew more complicated. "That monster buyer..."
Hilbargon watched their reactions with curiosity: "Who is Chariga? Is he also very powerful?"
Lin Yeming was surprised that the name he casually used as a shield had elicited a response from Goldras. He was taken aback, but remained calm on the surface: "We only met once by chance. He mentioned Etalga, but didn't elaborate." He changed the subject, "You seem to know him?"
Goldras narrowed her eyes, seemingly assessing the veracity of Lin Yeming's words: "Chariga is a mysterious being who travels between universes, collecting information from various worlds. We met once in the Shadow Galaxy." She paused, "He told me some things about Etelgar and warned me to stay away from that Time-Space Demon God."
Lin Yeming secretly breathed a sigh of relief and quickly nodded: "Yes, his warning to me was pretty much the same. But he always speaks in a mysterious way, making it hard to understand."
Hilbargon interjected, "So this Enemy was sent by Etalgar? What are they planning to do on Earth?"
Goldras looked at his sister seriously: "Etalgar has always harbored ambitions to control all parallel universes. Earth, as the intersection of multiple timelines, holds a special strategic position." She turned to Lin Yeming, "I suspect that Aenemina's arrival this time is not just for destruction, but to prepare for Etalgar's invasion of Earth."
Lin Yeming frowned: "The situation is worse than I thought. If Etelgar is manipulating things behind the scenes, then simply repelling Enemy might not be enough."
The energy fluctuations in the alternate dimension became increasingly unstable, and the surrounding light began to flicker.
“We need to leave here first,” Lin Yeming suggested. “The alternate dimension is about to collapse. Let’s go to my residence; there’s an energy barrier protecting it, so we can discuss countermeasures safely.”
Hilbagon nodded: "Lin Yeming's house is very safe, sister!"
Goldras pondered for a moment, then finally nodded in agreement: "Alright, it seems we need to cooperate." She looked at Lin Yeming, "But I have one condition: if the situation becomes critical, you must help me protect Hill, and if necessary, take her away from Earth."
Lin Yeming nodded solemnly: "I promise you. Hill's safety is always the top priority."
Hilbargon pouted, "I'm not going to run away! I want to fight alongside you!"
Goldras patted his sister's head: "Your courage is commendable, but sometimes knowing when to retreat is a wise move."
Lin Yeming stretched out his hands: "Time is running out. Please hold my hands, and I will teleport us to a safe place."
Hilbagun immediately grabbed Lin Yeming's right hand, while Goldras hesitated for a moment before finally placing his hand on Lin's left hand as well.
A flash of white light, and the three disappeared into the collapsing alternate dimension.
When they reappeared, they were already standing in a high-class room.
The interior was simply yet cozy, with ancient runes and peculiar patterns hanging on the walls.
"Welcome to my residence," Lin Yeming said. "This place is protected by multiple energy barriers, making it impossible for outsiders to detect our presence."
"Do as you please!"
He prepared plenty of snacks, enough for the two sisters.
Now, he still has things to report.
Although he didn't think Etagar would come, there were still some things he had to do.
