Chapter 38 The Emperor: Quite the Demeanor of a King
Chapter 38 The Emperor: Quite the Demeanor of a King
"It has the same style as when I swept through thousands of troops in the online world!" The Emperor still looked like a weasel, standing with his hands behind his back in Tie Hui's spiritual sea, pretending to be a worldly master, and praising him with a face full of admiration.
Tie Hui's previously imposing and cold expression immediately vanished upon hearing these words, and he burst into a tirade of curses: "You yellow-skinned dog! I called you so many times, and you didn't answer me. What do you want? Do you really want to be a piece of dried meat up there forever? Yes... ah..."
Before Tie Hui could finish speaking, his eyes rolled back and his body stiffened, trembling.
Several seconds later, the Emperor's voice slowly rang out: "Watch your mouth! What do you mean, 'yellow-skinned dog'? Everyone has a different face, don't you understand? I haven't even said anything to you yet, and you're already mistaking me for a weasel. I don't know what you're thinking!"
Tie Hui lay on the ground, foaming at the mouth, listening to the Emperor's curses echoing in his mind, feeling utterly miserable.
"Alright, hurry up and pack up and head back! That Thranduil should still be waiting for you up there!" The Emperor clicked his tongue in admiration, "You've caused quite a stir this time, and the impact will be far-reaching. I estimate that within a century, the mountains above this region will have sunk considerably, and it's very likely that a canyon will be carved out, running through both sides of the mountain range!"
Tie Hui felt a bitter taste in his mouth, and stood up with a frown. His legs were still a little unsteady from the electric shock.
After sheathing his greatsword and inspecting his belongings, he began retracing his steps, dismantling and retrieving any traps he had set along the way. "So, why didn't you answer me when I called you so many times inside?"
The emperor pondered for a moment; he couldn't very well say it was intentional!
"I didn't hear that! I was just watching your consciousness, and suddenly it went silent! I fucking thought you'd kicked the bucket! You have no idea how scared I was!" He sighed, feigning lingering fear.
Then, with a hint of satisfaction, he added, "But you're not bad either. I didn't expect you to comprehend some of the origin under those circumstances, and your strength has reached a new level! Moreover, I lent you some power, and your strength... wow! It's incredible!"
Upon hearing this, Tie Hui looked down at his hands, clenched his fists, and still felt weak: "Am I that strong now?"
The Emperor nodded: "Pretty much, but that was your most powerful attack. You can't always do the same thing, can you? Your daily strength might have decreased slightly, but it's still much stronger than before! Conquering cities and taking down strongholds is a piece of cake! You can even take on a single enemy who boards a ship!"
Tie Hui looked at his hands again, somewhat amazed: "Indeed! Even a soul can make a useless body possess divine power!"
The emperor nodded in a complex manner within his consciousness space.
Tie Hui didn't care this time, and happily started playing with his upgraded abilities.
Putting everything else aside, the areas illuminated by the light become much brighter!
I reached out and saw a light that looked like a car's high beam!
The warmth of the sunlight bathed him, bringing him a moment of relaxation.
The moment he relaxed, the dizziness and weakness made his legs go weak.
Fortunately, Thranduil was still there watching over him. Seeing his condition, he quickly helped him up, saying, "You're very weak!"
Tie Hui nodded: "Yeah, I was so sleepy and hungry! But thankfully, the nameless thing was taken care of!"
Thranduil exclaimed in praise, "Our mage has discovered it! Thank you!"
"Haha!" Ironfoot's distinctive dwarf-like laughter rang out, drawing everyone's attention.
King Dain II Ironfoot, King of the Mountain, and King Brand of Riverdale walked together.
Both men looked at Ironbeak with excitement, and Ironfoot slapped his thigh and laughed, "No wonder Gandalf praised him! I never expected he could even handle something nameless!"
"All this was thanks to Gandalf's reminder, and to Queen Galadriel's weapons and the suppression of your magical barriers! Otherwise... it really would have gotten away!"
King Brand was also pleased, as once the Nameless Ones were eliminated, they could mobilize a large number of troops to deal with the Orcs in the north.
Then they marched south to support Gondor and Rohan.
"Now, can we send reinforcements?" Tie Hui asked the three of them.
"Of course! We will mobilize our army and go there ourselves!" Thranduil nodded and then mounted his reindeer.
Tie Hui nodded, and then, with the help of the others, went to rest.
In the following period, the allied forces of the three races began a frenzied campaign to annihilate the roaming orcs in the north.
The dwarves further expanded their military, producing countless sophisticated weapons and equipment which were then loaded onto vehicles.
Until three days later!
Thranduil rode on the back of a new elk!
Furthermore, his mount was also clad in armor thanks to the supplies provided by the dwarves, and its antlers were reinforced with metal.
King Brand rode a white horse, while Ironfoot Dane still rode his little fat pig.
Three Kings!
They moved closer to each other, forming a semicircle.
He then drew his weapon and they clashed in mid-air!
"Set off!"
At the command of the three men, the allied forces of the three tribes behind them instantly set off, advancing towards the Anduin River.
The river was densely packed with boats ready to transport soldiers, supplies, and weapons.
Tie Hui wore mithril armor inscribed with runes by an elven mage and crafted by dwarves.
He rode majestically on the back of a pure black horse!
The elves' golden armor was dazzling under the sunlight, and from a distance, it looked like a golden ocean under the setting sun.
The dwarves were heavily armed with spears, their long spears forming a forest that shimmered like stars in the daytime under the sun.
Humans constituted the largest group among the three races' allied forces, and with the support of dwarven craftsmen, they were well-equipped and clad in iron armor.
Looking at the army that resembled a torrent of steel, Tie Hui felt a surge of pride welling up within him!
"We should board the ship now! With the mage's blessing, we'll reach Rohan in ten days!" Thranduil rode up to him on a reindeer.
Tie Hui nodded, and then followed the others onto the troop transport ship.
Due to the limited width of the Anduin River, the boats here are not as large as those on the ocean.
On the contrary, it is very narrow and appears very long and thin!
woo-
The sound of bugles rang out from the mountaintop on the shore, where the people of the three tribes who remained behind were blessing their victory in this expedition.
"Raise the sails, set sail!"
At a command, the mainsail suddenly unfurled, and a gust of wind instantly blew the canvas into a large, billowing shape.
The boat began to move slowly, and then suddenly holes opened on both sides of the hull, from which a huge wooden oar extended and began to slide back and forth, stirring up waves.
The massive fleet began to move slowly!
As the elven mage began chanting his magic spells, the fleet's speed increased rapidly.
