Chapter 56 Finding a Teacher for Tom Marvolo Riddell
Chapter 56 Finding a Teacher for Tom Marvolo Riddell
Even if I did something silly in the early morning, I still woke up at the same time as my biological clock the next day. It was a classic case of trying to steal a chicken but losing the rice instead.
After getting ready, I went downstairs to make breakfast, only to find Tom Marvolo Riddell engrossed in reading a book on the sofa in the living room.
"Good morning, Tom Marvolo!" Will this kid not grow tall if he wakes up so early? He wakes up earlier than my biological clock.
"Hmm." Tom Marvolo Riddle merely raised his head slightly as a greeting, as he was now completely absorbed in the knowledge of the magic book.
Seeing Tom Marvolo Riddell so engrossed in his book, I decided not to disturb him and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
We each went about our own business, and when I finished serving breakfast and put it on the table, Tom Marvolo Riddell was still reading intently.
Suddenly feeling like I was going to tease him, I sneaked up behind him.
'Yugadim, Leviosa' The staffless spell made the book Tom Marvolo Riddell was reading float.
"Damn it!" Tom Marvolo Riddell interrupted me just as he was getting to the exciting part.
“Tom Marvolo Riddle.” I smiled wickedly at Tom Marvolo Riddle, and the book he was looking at floated in the air.
For some reason, Tom Marvolo Riddell felt a chill run down his spine when he saw me smile like that, as if something very unpleasant was about to happen if he didn't get up soon.
"Come and have breakfast. After you finish, you can continue reading. I'll be going out for a bit and will be back tonight. You need to stay home obediently." With a flick of her finger, the books that had been floating in the air were neatly placed on the tea table.
"Hmm." Tom Marvolo Riddell's eyes lit up when he heard that I was going out in a bit. Finally, no one would bother him anymore, especially this person in front of him.
Seeing how happy Tom Marvolo Riddell was, I was afraid he wouldn't be happy about it later.
Actually, I was planning to go out and find him a tutor. I'm the kind of person who comes with a cheat code, but I don't seem to know how to teach others. I can only find a good teacher to teach Tom Marvolo Riddle.
After we finished our breakfast milk together, we went about our own business. Don't ask me why I also need to drink milk; I'm actually only a little older than Tom Marvolo Riddell, and I also need to drink milk to grow.
While Tom Marvolo Riddell was clearing the dishes, I went upstairs to grab my coat and head out.
After I left, Tom Marvolo Riddell just glanced at me silently.
As I walked down the street, I was thinking about my current situation. I only have a year here, and without changing too much of the plot, how do I train Tom Marvolo Riddell?
I'm going to give Tom Marvolo Riddell a grueling training schedule right now, haha~ I'm really looking forward to seeing how he reacts to it.
Night fell over the city, and the streetlights were dim and faint.
I dragged my heavy steps, walking slowly towards home.
With each step, it felt like dragging a huge rock, and waves of fatigue washed over me.
Finally, I arrived at my doorstep.
I took out the key, inserted it into the lock, and turned it gently.
The door opened, and a warm breeze wafted out.
I walked into my house and closed the door, as if shutting out the whole world.
I walked into the living room and collapsed onto the sofa.
The sofa's softness gave me a sense of comfort, but the fatigue in my body still couldn't be relieved.
I closed my eyes, trying to relax. I'm so tired today.
In order to find a good tutor for Tom Marvolo Riddell, I was reminded of Gellert Grindelwald of France, so after leaving home, I transformed into a dragon and flew over to France to find Gellert Grindelwald and chatted with him for an afternoon.
Recalling the conversation that afternoon:
As I entered French soil, an intuition seemed to guide me, directing me straight in one direction. As I stepped into the dimly lit room, Gellert Grindelwald sat in an ornate chair, his gaze piercing me like a sword.
His long black robes fluttered in the wind, as if he himself were the embodiment of darkness.
His eyes were piercing, as if they could see right through my soul.
I could tell he had been waiting for me here for a long time.
"You've come." His voice was deep and magnetic.
I gave a sly smile, sat down opposite him, crossed my legs, and said, "Gellert Grindelwald, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
He smiled slightly, a mysterious smile playing on his lips. "Oh? How did you know I was waiting for you?"
My golden pupils stared at the person in front of me as I said, "Intuition." We remained silent like that.
Grindelwald's eyes sharpened as he stared at me. "What is it?"
I lazily sprawled out on the sofa, looking at him with a languid air, and said, "Find me an excellent teacher, the kind who can teach anything."
Grindelwald was silent for a moment, then slowly said, "You came all this way to see me just for this. How irresponsible of you are these days."
I chuckled, took out a cup of milk tea from my backpack, took a sip, and said, "What? Are you jealous that I have so much free time right now? How could someone as busy as you understand my happiness?"
Grindelwald didn't seem to mind my tone of voice; he seemed quite used to it. He picked up his coffee, took a sip, and asked, "When do you need it?"
I gently blew on the milk tea, and steam slowly rose from the cup. I felt a little dazed looking at myself.
"I'll be waiting at home tomorrow. I'm sure you can find out where I live." He put down his milk tea, stood up, straightened his collar, and prepared to leave.
"Don't come to me with such trivial matters again. Just looking at you annoys me." Grindelwald sipped his coffee, not even wanting to look at me.
"You don't know when you'll see me again." I swaggered away like that, then transformed back into a dragon and flew back to England.
While I was talking to Grindelwald today and we seemed to be having a nonsensical conversation, we had actually clashed several times in the air, each of us competing with the other within our own control.
That bastard really didn't hold back at all, but luckily I still won by a small margin.
After resting on my sofa for a while, I got up and went upstairs to my room to get my pajamas. I then went into the bathroom, turned on the tap, and let the hot water run down.
I took off my clothes, turned on the shower, and let the hot water wash over my body.
After I finished showering, I put on my pajamas and went into the bedroom.
I lay in bed, covered myself with the blanket, and fell asleep instantly.
I was asleep, but I didn't know that the moment I got home, Tom Marvolo Riddell heard me come back; he just didn't leave his room.
