At least I'm no longer living in fear and trembling with terror in Naraku's presence, always worried that I'll be killed one day.
"Don't worry, even if this method doesn't work, I'm still very grateful for your kindness."
"At least, you have won me a moment of freedom."
"That's enough."
Despite being enemies, they have become like this, and Kagura doesn't know what has affected her.
Sesshomaru's face flashed through her mind, but she gave a bitter smile.
Perhaps she was destined to have no freedom from the moment she was born.
But fortunately...
She got to know Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and their group.
At least they won't die meaningless deaths like Wuxin Gui and others.
"I see!!"
"I will go find Sesshomaru!"
"But whether he'll agree to save Kagura, I have no idea!!"
Unable to resist Kagome's gentle words, Inuyasha, sweating and irritated, said...
(Damn it! I should have sent Dad first.)
Inuyasha was somewhat regretful, as he never expected to encounter something like this.
(I'm going to find the opponent who made Kirinmaru disappear. This war may not be as easy as I think.)
(This parting is only temporary. We will meet again someday, Inuyasha.)
(If necessary, you may need to team up with Sesshomaru to stop me.)
Looking back on his separation from Inu no Taisho, Inuyasha truly hadn't expected things to turn out this way.
"Kagura, and Koga's... you two come along!"
Lancer
"Stop rambling! I don't understand!"
Cú Chulainn turned to look at Steel Fang, and after receiving a nod from the latter, he patted his behind and got up.
(Seriously, this war is really strange. Aren't the Masters getting along a bit too well?)
Sending your Servant away to help others—in a normal Holy Grail War, there probably wouldn't be any Master with such a magnanimous heart.
He admitted that Koga himself was quite capable, but the beautiful girl named Kagome and her servants were not simple either.
If that guy gets killed after I leave, I'll really be the one who gets taken advantage of.
Despite his complaints, Cú Chulainn was still able to understand the nature of these people to some extent.
If I had to say, they're guys who aren't inherently bad.
"gone!"
"bring it on."
"I'll just ride on the feather and follow."
Watching the three leave, Kagome offered a heartfelt prayer.
She hoped that Kagura could overcome this difficulty.
.........
"Zhuye."
"Hi!!"
A soft call jolted Moroha awake from her slumber. She sat half-upright on the ground, drool dripping from her mouth, looking completely dazed.
"We can't do this again."
Kikyo reached out and wiped Moroha's face before speaking.
That heartwarming scene seemed rather strange to Amber, who was watching from afar.
(Lord Kikyo...she's never been this gentle even to Lord Inuyasha, has she?)
He sensed it the moment he arrived last night. Kikyo and Moroha's relationship was somewhat unusual.
But because of his position, he couldn't ask anything.
After washing up by the river, the three picked some wild fruit and then set off on their journey.
"Um... Lady Kikyo, are we going to find Naraku now?"
Once they were on the road, Amber asked a question.
"No, it's not necessary now."
"Ugh?"
Kikyo's answer left Kohaku somewhat puzzled.
“Even if we don’t actively seek him out, he will come looking for us soon.”
"I sensed those two corrupted Shikon Jewel fragments yesterday; they must belong to Koga."
"The only pieces left to complete the Shikon Jewel are the one in Kagome's hand and the one in your body."
Kikyo gently stroked Moroha's head with one hand, peeled the skin off the fruit with the other, and handed it to Moroha, explaining softly.
That tender look made Amber feel a little uncomfortable for a moment.
But he forced himself to suppress his doubts and then focused on what had just been said.
(In other words, Naraku will definitely arrive very soon in order to collect all the Shikon Jewels.)
(With only two fragments left, they definitely won't look for Kagome first, since Inuyasha and the others are all there.)
(So, Lady Kikyo is looking for a secluded place, waiting for Naraku to come looking for her, so I can use the fragments in my body to destroy him!)
Having already made up his mind to sacrifice himself, Amber never wavered.
If he could exchange his life for Naraku's, Kohaku would do it no matter what.
It wasn't just for the dead members of our clan, but also for my sister who is still alive.
"Hey, if that guy named Naraku dares to show up, I'll definitely take care of him!"
Zhu Ye pouted as he chewed on the fruit, then said confidently.
She knew that he was the bastard who had hurt her mother.
If they really meet, Moroha will definitely have to give the other person a couple of punches.
"Hehe, what a pity."
"Naraku isn't coming."
But at that moment, the three of them suddenly felt a bone-chilling cold.
(when?!)
Amber turned around in astonishment and saw a strange woman standing on the road, her pale skin looking unusually frightening.
"!"
Kikyo's expression changed as she realized who the visitor was.
"You are... the Shikon Jewel?"
"Hmph, as expected of an outstanding shrine maiden after Midori, you saw through my true form at a glance?"
As expected, the Shikon Jewel emitted a chilling laugh.
"The servant's body was taken over through a ritual."
"What is your purpose?!"
Kikyo stopped Moroha from making a move and said in a deep voice.
"Purpose?"
"Yes, now you're here to take my fragments and your Dragon Balls!"
PS:
We recommend trying it. It will be available next Wednesday (the 13th), along with Sanjiang and the cover recommendation.
I will announce the rules for bonus chapters after the book is released. During that period, there will be a minimum of three chapters per day. Bonus chapters will be calculated separately.
Judging from the results, I know that not everyone dislikes this volume's story. Some people are simply unfamiliar with Inuyasha, so they might find it confusing.
It was my mistake to not consider that small group of people.
As for those who criticize me and the plot, forget it. I know whether the results are good or bad.
One more thing to mention is that this book doesn't have a main character, but at the same time, anyone could be a main character, which is the biggest feature of ensemble writing.
I want to write stories about what happens after people come into contact with each other, rather than simply stories about "war war war (tatakai)".
