Pain chuckled softly, offering no reply.

He turned to the others: "Who will deal with him? Anyone who invades the divine realm has only one path: death."

"I come!"

Hidan excitedly raised his hand, shouldered the Bloodstained Three-Month Scythe, and stepped out from the ranks.

"Kakuzu, you'll be in his group."

The "willing to serve" guy shrugged, completely unconcerned.

This trip seems like it could make a fortune again...

The immortal duo set off immediately.

Pain's attitude weighed heavily on Itachi's heart. Could it be...?

Is it really Sasuke?

"I'll go too. If it's Sasuke, his target will definitely be me. Let me handle that."

After saying this, Itachi Uchiha intended to go with Hidan and Kakuzu.

But Pain suddenly spoke up to stop him.

"Uchiha Itachi, you stay."

His voice carried an undeniable power.

Itachi paused, his hands, hidden in his sleeves, unconsciously clenched, and a flash of crimson light crossed his eyes.

But eventually, he relaxed, and the unusual look in his eyes returned to calm.

Before the truth is revealed, it is not advisable to clash with Pain.

"Yes……"

Itachi took a deep breath and watched Hidan and Kakuzu's figures gradually disappear into the distance.

On top of a towering water tower, Sasuke's partially completed Susanoo slowly faded away, disappearing without a trace like morning mist meeting the sun.

"Doing this should lure them out, right?"

Sasuke whispered, his voice so soft it seemed to be a murmur to his own heart.

"Hey, Sasuke, what are you doing here?" A voice came from above.

"Pain is not someone to be trifled with, especially the Pain who can absorb all ninjutsu. Without Sage Mode, he'll be a real headache."

Atop Sasuke's head rested a small, exquisite Nine-Tails, a special "gift" Naruto had given him upon their parting.

Naruto was naturally very worried when he learned that Sasuke was going to act alone.

He decided to share half of the Nine-Tails' power within him with Sasuke, ensuring his safety throughout the journey.

Sasuke looked up, his eyes gleaming: "I've wanted to ask you this for a long time, how do you know so much?"

"You even know about Pain? Logically speaking, Pain shouldn't have shown his face in the ninja world yet, right?"

"You've been hiding inside Naruto's body the whole time, where did you get all this information?"

"Besides, Naruto is usually quite clumsy, so the fact that he can use your power clearly indicates that it's not something he can do on his own."

"So, the problem must be with you, Nine-Tails."

Kurama's eyes narrowed: "So, you, Uchiha Sasuke, are you interrogating me instead? Aren't you being rather strange yourself?"

"Looking at you now, you don't look like a twelve-year-old boy at all. And those ninjutsu techniques, I don't even have the heart to tell you about them."

"If it weren't for the fact that you still have Indra's chakra within you, I would have doubted whether you were an imposter for Uchiha Sasuke."

Sasuke's face darkened, and he couldn't help but ask, "So what exactly is going on with you?"

"You've been reborn too?"

Chapter 113 The first to die are the "You Never Die" duo.

Upon hearing the words "reborn," Kurama (the Nine-Tails) was startled. It leaned out from above Sasuke's head, met his gaze, and spoke with disbelief in its tone:

"The same to you?"

The human and the fox locked eyes, and after a moment, they both burst into laughter, as if all their doubts had been resolved.

"When did you come from?" Sasuke asked.

"During the Fourth Shinobi World War? Or later?"

Sasuke recalled that it was during the Fourth Shinobi World War that Kurama (the Nine-Tails) and Naruto became connected and true allies.

If Kurama is this friendly, then his rebirth shouldn't have happened any earlier.

"Later than you think, Naruto was already married and had children by then."

The Nine Lamas was lost in deep memories.

"He has a son named Boruto, who is mischievous and just like Naruto when he was a child."

"What about you?"

"And when did you arrive?"

After Kurama finished speaking, Sasuke's gaze became meaningful. Instead of answering, he asked a question:

"Then do you know Momoshiki Otsutsuki?"

Nine Lamas did not hesitate:

"Momoshiki Otsutsuki? Of course I know him, that guy's incredibly powerful."

"But in the end, they still lost. However, an even more troublesome move later emerged."

"I paid the ultimate price to let Naruto defeat him."

Sasuke pondered for a moment, then suddenly spoke:

"Nine-Tails, before our rebirths, we were probably on the same timeline."

"Huh?" Nine-Tails was taken aback.

Sasuke continued, "My last memory is of recuperating in Konoha. After my battle with Isshiki, Momoshiki controlled Boruto and destroyed my Rinnegan."

"In the blink of an eye, we're back in this era."

"So that's how it is, what a coincidence!"

Nine-Tailed Fox was quite surprised

"No, this isn't a coincidence; someone is manipulating things behind the scenes," Sasuke shook his head in denial.

"Man-made? Who has that kind of ability?"

"You must have heard of Shinomiya Yuuki, right?"

Kurama nodded, "Naruto and he have a very close relationship."

“But in our time, this person simply didn’t exist,” Sasuke explained.

"He was like a strange visitor from outer space, arriving unexpectedly."

"Rewriting history silently"

After pondering for a moment, Nine-Tails asked, "So what do you plan to do? Get rid of him?"

"Get rid of him? Why would I do that?" Sasuke seemed somewhat surprised.

"Huh? But you're not..."

"Isn't it good as it is now? If we could start over, we could make many choices again."

"Look how happy Naruto is now, the Fourth Hokage and Kushina Uzumaki have both been resurrected."

He will no longer be all alone.

"That makes sense, so it seems like this is a good thing," Nine-Tails nodded in agreement.

"Alright, enough chit-chat, we have guests."

Sasuke looked up and could vaguely see two figures approaching at lightning speed in the distance.

It was that fearsome, immortal duo—Hidan and Kakuzu!

Swish!

Hey, hey, hey...

Sasuke drew the replica Kusanagi sword, its blade gleaming with dazzling lightning.

"The Akatsuki's immortal trio?"

"That title sounds utterly ridiculous."
