Magical Journey: The Other Shore Blooms on the Other Shore

Chapter 193 The Travel Story of Elena (and Her Friends) Part 1

Chapter 193 The Travel Story of Elena (and Her Friends) Part 1

The most anticipated part of travel is often the unexpected encounters.

If everything were predetermined, the world would be as dull as a pre-written script. It is precisely because of so many unpredictable surprises that this journey is extraordinary.

For example, right now—"a country where any wish can be fulfilled."

Although it looks suspicious—there's only one door here—that's what the sign on the door says.

"Shall we go in and have some fun?" Elena asked Qin for her opinion.

Even though she was very curious, anyone with eyes could see that something was unusual; with Qin's abilities, he could definitely sense more, and if Qin felt that there might be something he couldn't handle, Elena would immediately turn around and leave.

Just kidding, it's just a trip, why risk your life?

“There’s a demonic aura inside,” Jean said.

"Oh? Let's go then," Elena sighed. Demons—Elena has a terrible fear of demons, whether it's a druid or Cain, either one can give her nightmares.

But in reality, these named demons are high-ranking demons, representing some kind of malevolence. Most demons aren't actually that terrifying...

They can't even come to the human world. Even if they are lucky enough to come, they might just possess someone for fun. But even an ordinary person can "exorcise" someone possessed by that level of possession. It is said that you just need to spit on the possessed person and those evil things will find it dirty and run away.

Demons are all germaphobes, of course, that's just hearsay.

"It might not be a demon, but you can go in and take a look if you want to have some fun," Qin said.

After all, if you're afraid of everything, life would be unbearable. In terms of sheer terror, this kingdom isn't as terrifying as the demon within you.

So Elena pushed open the door and slowly walked in.

The moment she opened and closed her eyes, it was as if she had entered another world.

How amazing... Is this some kind of magical magic?

But why does it feel so familiar? It's not just the scenery around me that feels familiar, but also the feeling I have. This sense of familiarity is hard to explain.

As Elena gazed at the distant clock tower, a wave of memories washed over her.

Isn't that the iconic building of Rostlov, the city of clocks? Have I been teleported back to Rostlov? No, the surrounding buildings are not in the style of Rostlov at all.

Soon, Elena identified many more landmark buildings.

The central garden of the Garden of Demi-European elegance.

The ancient bell of Sperado, the City of Death.

The central arch bridge of Rochester, the land of water.

There are also many other unique buildings, pieced together haphazardly like a hodgepodge.

"A dream," Qin said, revealing the truth.

Dream...

Elena knew why she felt a sense of familiarity. She seemed to have quite a bit of experience with lucid dreams, which explained why she felt a sense of familiarity when she pushed the door open.

Was this entire dream world created? Who created this dream world?

Based on Qin's feeling just now, I can probably guess what it is. If nothing unexpected happens, it is a demon.

These demons are basically kings who are masters of dreams.

"Let's take a look around." Since we're already here, we might as well make the best of it and browse around.

This place is entirely composed of Elena's memories. Every scene here holds a specific place in Elena's mind, but she wonders if she will ever meet the people she met in these kingdoms before.

For example, the somewhat silly goddess sisters of Spedora of Death, and that little Grim Reaper who has no dignity whatsoever.

Or perhaps it's the elegant Hayley and her apprentice Morissa from the Garden of Beauty...

Or perhaps, we could see if Fran, the teacher here, is still teaching in Royal Celestia.

Unfortunately, there's only scenery here; you can't see a single person.

Not only were there no human figures, but there wasn't a single living creature to be seen.

A country where any wish can be granted... Although Elena was not entirely convinced, she was still pondering how such a grand gimmick could be accomplished.

Just then, Elena finally saw a figure other than Qin.

The man also saw Elena, who was chewing on some bread she had somehow acquired, and wearing a witch's brooch on her chest.

Those beautiful gray hairs and adorable face that seemed to have stood the test of time were all strangely familiar.

"Huh?" Elena and the other person pointed at each other. "Who are you?"

"I am Elena." Then they introduced themselves to each other.

"I am Elena," Elena, standing next to Jean, said with her hands on her hips. "Are you an imposter, imitating me without paying royalties?"

"I'm Elena, okay? You're the one who's accusing me first! I haven't even asked you for copyright fees yet!" the other Elena retorted defiantly.

Elena, who was next to Qin, wanted to argue, but then she remembered that this was a dream, and it wasn't surprising to meet another Elena. After all, it's not strange to meet anything in a dream.

"Let's not talk about that for now. Who is he?" The other person, Irena, pointed at the piano.

“He is my partner—Jin,” Elena introduced.

"Hey hey hey hey hey hey!? I told you you're fake, right? How could the real Elena be interested in love? Wouldn't it be better to eat some bread instead?"

Go marry your bread and live your life.

But now Elena doesn't want to waste her breath arguing with her dream self.

She pondered her current situation, wondering why she was seeing another version of herself in her dream. What exactly did the being who created the dream want?

However, there is currently no good environment for thinking.

An intruder shattered the silence without a word: a beam of white laser light descended from the sky.

The pianist swiftly scooped up Elena in a beautiful dodge, but the other Elena wasn't so lucky; her bread couldn't escape in time and became a victim of the laser.

"Who? Who stole my bread? Mr. Bread, I will avenge you!" the gluttonous Elena roared angrily.

The intruder quickly appeared, his striking gray hair and face revealing his identity.

It's another Elena.

But compared to the other two Elenas, this Elena clearly reeked of blood: "Dipped beans! Awesome! Tataka! I want tataka!"

"So it was you who ambushed me, huh?" The foodie Elena rushed forward and got into a tangle with the Elena who wanted to dip the beans in the sauce.
