That's right, the quiz Rune prepared for Clark was about Homelander. Homelander was inspired by Superman, and for Clark, who is now blessed by God, defeating Homelander wouldn't be too difficult. But Rune didn't just want Clark to simply defeat his opponent.

Once Homelander reveals what he has done, Clark believes that Homelander will be utterly defeated by the real Superman. However, Rune hopes that Clark can use Homelander as a mirror to see what he looks like when he has lost self-control, lost his beliefs, and is dominated by his own desires.

As for Rune, he still has to deal with the mastermind behind the Black Robe Inspectorate's infiltration. If he doesn't deal with it, Rune will probably have a hard time obtaining mass-produced Compound V.

On the bright side, perhaps the mastermind behind it all has successfully reduced the side effects of compound five.
