"Isn't it enough that I'm taking you away from this terrible apocalypse for free?" Rune raised an eyebrow. For a being of Ego's size, the amount of magic power required to enter the portal must be extremely astonishing. If he remembered correctly, Ego in the comics wasn't a greedy person, was he?

"Of course I'm satisfied." Igor sighed and explained his predicament: "But I—I have a brother, you can think of him as another me. I'm sorry, but I hope you can get him to escape this terrible apocalypse with me. If you agree, I will do my best to meet your needs."

"No, Tony." He shook his head. "I won't leave."

Tony was absolutely furious with this donkey. He looked down at Steve and grabbed his shoulder: "Are you crazy?! This universe is going to end in just over ten days. You, me, and all the other heroes will die!"

"I know, Tony." Steve finally stood up and walked to the French windows, looking into the distance where he could still see the border of this temporary government—there were many people there. They knew that in Tony's country, everyone could get a ticket to survive the apocalypse, so they went through all sorts of hardships to come here, trying to enter this temporary country—but it was destined to be in vain.

Someone might let them in, but Heimdall and Professor X will work together to decide who gets the ticket to survive the apocalypse.

Steve kept a close eye on the people gathered at the border, while Tony, who had fought alongside him for years, was already familiar with his thoughts.

"You can't save them!" Tony practically roared. "The planet Rune created has limited space; we can't take everyone with us!"
